    Denise - no need to skip the cinnamon; it's very helpful in regulating blood sugar. ;)

    Then throw in some gin-soaked raisins (in case you have any arthritis) and you have the breakfast of champions!

    I read somewhere that raisins and peanuts were also bad for estrogen positive. Have to find the link.

    I'd heard that about peanuts and am not sure it's limited to ER+. Since I don't eat them I didn't really give it a lot of attention. Hadn't heard that about raisins though...

    I think it's just peanuts and I think it's not just ER pos. I believe is has to do with a fungus or mould that is viewed as carcinogenic, Nash. Check out aflatoxin.

    CP418: Yes, but not all cancer is alike. Your cancer is not my cancer is not my best friend's husband's cancer.

    The above article does not address the somewhat phytoestrogenic effect of curcumin. That issue is one that I think every ER+ woman needs to address individually with her physician.

    For other cancers, bring on the turmeric!
