Iris, good luck! For what it's worth, I've been very happy with MSK. My doctors are based at the Lauder Center in the city, but most of the time I've gotten infusions in their Brooklyn center, near my home.

I'm sure you ride the golf court with style!

In your pocket, Iris! It IS a big deal. Go get 'em.

For what it's worth, the rads people at MSK in NY were great, super nice. By the way, I found music was very helpful during rads. Each day, I brought in my iPad and a small speaker, and played music. It helped me float away a bit while the machines and techs were doing their thing, and it definitely helped with my anxiety level, which was pretty high.

    Good luck!

Every time I mow the yard these days leaves me snuffy, stuffy and coughy !

    Hugs to everyone 🤗

Iris, weirdly once I got into the routine I enjoyed going to my rads appointments because my team was so attentive and compassionate. I gave my regular tech two Hugs when I finished. I will be in your pocket.

My own crazy's winding up a bit: MO said "Diagnostic mammogram. even though your previous one was clean, just in case they need to take extra images." I said "Yes, please, diagnostic mammogram, for exactly those reasons." BUT NO: insurance said "Screening mammogram." So guess what happened?

    Yep.

I'll go sublimate my greebles into my accounting homework.

    Hi, ladies -

I need some good thoughts, please! I have my annual MRI coming up next Tuesday and I'm a bit of a mess (as I usually am just before mammo or MRI!) If I make it though this one, I'm on my way to becoming a three-year survivor in September. Woot! I just have to get through the next week of the test and the waiting. Ug. Waiting AGAIN!
