Almost 4 weeks to the date post BMX, I got a red rash on lower half of 1 breast. I have acellular dermal matrix in place under a direct to implant 410 gummie. I read the ADM (alloderm) causes this in some people. Anyone else had this? Wondering how long it will last & if anyone was treated with steroids?

Hi i belive i maybe experiencing RBS. About 6 months after prophylactic dbl mastectomy direct to implant under skin w alloderm- originally diagnoised 2019 stage 1, L breast, lumpectomy and bi later reconstruction, followed by radiation. 2021 left breast revision due to necrotic tissue from radiation. 2023 the dbl mastectomy as more issues on left breast. We are now back to RBS

Presented about 6 months post surgery in left breast only. Chills, fever, headache flu like symptons. Bright red to purple brest tight and pushed up the chest wall and Capsulor contraction. prescribed Bactrim, Rifampin. Took two 7 day course to clear. Then did the capsular contriaction NIH protocal, doxycyclin, singulair and vitaman E for 3 months. Symptoms returned in 6 months. 1 antibotic regimen plus steriod pak. Back 6 months later, treated w steroids. Back 8 months later- which is where i am now.

    Anyone having repeat??
