Purple spots on one breast

I'm 63 years old. Was taking very low doses of HRT for a good few years; menopause it wrecked me. noticed a purple spot on my left breast six weeks ago. I thought it was a bug bite. Then it turned into a tiny boil, but did not burst, then it stayed purple and I thought nothing of it. No pain. No itch. Then two weeks ago another purple spot appeared near the first.

After an exhaustive internet search of "purple spots on my breast" I saw my PCP yesterday and she agreed that it was concerning–could be an early symptom of inflammatory breast cancer (or nothing). I have an appointment with an oncologist on Tues July 31st and a surgeon to do a "punch biopsy."

I'm trying not to freak out.
