I got a response from my email to John Fetterman. True, it is a form letter but appreciate that maybe someone read my letter about what a disaster RFK, Jr. would be in any federal position let alone health care.

I haven't been watching the news since the toad took it upon himself to place blame on Biden and Obama for the plane crash that is clearly his since he decided to clean house. Part of the blame also goes to the disastrous Musk who needs to stop meddling in places he clearly doesn't belong. Now he is trying to gain access to the financial computers that control Medicare and Medicaid. He wants his appointees to create new programs and rune the department. He should not have this type of clearance or access but he is being permitted to run amok. Hegseth did not know what he was talking about nor did the new jerk in charge of Transportation.

I will be glad of our trip which will mean we can skip a month of news unless we want to watch CNN or MSNBC. I might check in but need a break from the chaos controller, the toad.

Just wanted to say sometimes I don't mark any word on the bottom because they are not close enough to how I really feel. We don't have totally stupid, puke, Give it up, not right in the head, or others so I don't mark any, but I'm reading all of it. Just know that is why sometimes I don't use any of the avatar words.

Can we recognize our oneness, though? And what will happen if we not only start to see that we are connected to the other human beings in our lives, but also start to live as if that were true? Would we become more compassionate if we were to recognize the same hopes and dreams that we have, there in someone else? Would we be able to help someone else feel more hope in their lives? Would we feel more at home and at peace in our own places in this world if we were to keep in mind that we are an important part of the human race, and that we have many chances every day to improve the lot of humanity by improving the life of a fellow human being, even in tiny ways?

I will be back later for memes but only wanted to say that I'm reading things from a couple of places that I trust that we are not hearing all that much about some of the things that should have alarm bells, actually more like glaring intrusive sirens going off.

Like Musk getting into our finance/budget offices getting the top person to resign (sounds like a resign or be fired situation) so that he can do to that office what he did to Twitter/X, destroy it. In part the destruction comes because too many people like Musk are in charge of the media. Musk has no authority over our government, but he bought the presidency so who is standing up to him. Not a whole lot of anyone and that is the problem.

I think, and I fell heir to it, that hearing a few days ago that FG would be getting irritable with Musk for his getting so much limelight and banishing him doesn't seem like a 'real' thing right now. How much the two of them (since FG has negligible skills right now to either plan or listen and understand) got together on what is going on, who knows. I'm just not sure FG will rebel.

At the same time that one is screaming about planes and helicopters, after HE set to work immediately upon being sworn to tear up the FAA. Hopes to convince people it was the former admin. Well, we didn't do everything right but it was only after FG took chg. that we had these incidents.

FG will continue on just that way. His ego does not allow him to be wrong no matter how many people he KILLS with his executive orders or other idiot schemes.

None the less the tariffs set to go into effect today.

The past couple of days have really had an effect on my morale. It is almost numbing to think of a person like Musk — NO AUTHORITY WHAT-SO-EVER allowed to roam around shoving long time experienced federal employees out of their positions (who we have trusted for years with no issues) out in order to take over government payrolls and payouts that have happened smoothly and effortlessly so he can just not pay what he and FG decide they don't want to right now.

We are not hearing enough about this so may not be pushing back as much as we should. I do have some hope that many, even a lot from Maga Land will see that NOTHING is really being done for them and that in fact, those who hoped for ANY kind of help are going to be left stranded by the wayside. I hope it is enough to make a huge difference. I don't think it will be easy to dislodge someone like Musk, but the head of that snake really has to go. The Reps., biggest gutless wonders there ever were are not going to be much help if any. It is going to have to come from the Democrats and as well, as many people who GET that they were highly defrauded so they would vote for FG as is possible. As yet, no one is feeling it seems a whole lot of PERSONAL impact, but the deportations, plus tariffs, is going to start I hope the train of understanding rolling a whole lot better.
