Now if that number had shown up to vote against him, we would not have him sitting in the WH now. If they show up for the midterm election, we might be able to return power to the Democrats and have some stability for the following 2 years. Hopefully there is a lesson here.

Wonderful numbers. I so hope that there are those who will HEAR what all those millions of people wanted to say and realize normal people with love for all detest the Trumps of this world and anyone who would act as enablers for him.
I read that this has been the biggest one day event ever. I would also note that I certainly think (as was mentioned on the way here) that having protests all over — rather than making people ALL travel to one area was really wise. Some people can't travel for many reasons but almost any can and did meet in their individual towns and cities — at parks on or along streets — wherever a goodly number of people could get together. This I think vastly increased the number of people who wanted to and did participate.
I do hope this is indeed the beginning of a "hopefully quicker" end to the Loon. Although all that went before made No Kings' Day possible and extremely viable. There again, being able to have many individual protests all across the United States, meant more people participating.

Rather stunning……not a happy or pleased looking face in the bunch.

The rt. has been much more actively up to no good for a long, long while. We are where we are today because over all the Democrats are quite fair and pretty civil. The other side chose to be tough as nails long ago and pushed that way out by now.

Another pretty pathetic picture. The whole world is seeing it.

My oldest child and I went to our No Kings event. We had a massive turnout in Denver - over 5,000 at the Capitol building, and well over 10,000 all together at multiple marches in the metro area. It was an optimistic energy, and the solidarity felt by all the people showing up really resonated. All of the marches were peaceful, except for one group of about 100 protesters who tried to walk onto the interstate. Police blocked them, launched some smoke bombs, and arrested all of 6 people. The news tried to hype up the one minor skirmish, but reader comments quickly lambasted them for skewing the event into more exciting than it actually was.
The blue horse with laser eyes is Blucifer, the mascot of Denver International Airport. DIA has all sorts of crazy conspiracy theories based around it, and the marketing board has chosen to lean into it. If you have a chance to fly through Denver, there's all kinds of wild art, aliens, gargoyles, and local humor.

Patience strengthens the spirit, sweetens the temper, stifles anger, extinguishes envy, subdues pride, bridles the tongue, restrains the hand, and tramples upon temptation.

Miriandra - thank you and your daughter. Sorry to hear about the interstate issue. There were a few places where things went down, but over-all I think the day was sooo positive. More people want peace and hopefully a bit of cooperation and civility. I expect any adverse issues would be magnified and that is sad.
All in all I think and hope that yesterdays events will have a very positive and lasting effect on all of us who are still somewhat stuck in place as yet. It has seemed difficult to stop abuses but yesterday proved that a REAL message can be generated — so we definitely need to keep it up. That's interesting about your airport.

Can't say I'm sorry. Not sure who really organized THIS parade, but I have to say those done by other dictators (who by the way seem to know how to be dictators better as well) looked so much better put together and presented. This guy (the Loon that is) a total loser does very little and when he does do something it is all wrong, backward, and somewhat as insane and chaotic as he is. One of the adjectives I've been hearing a lot to express the feeling of this parade LOW ENERGY and I would say indeed it is and was. No wonder he fell asleep. He was bored like everyone else.

Yes, and it was the first time it was absolutely needed.

Not one American should die for Israel’s warmongering. Not one more dollar should be paid for by the American taxpayer; let God work it out for the “chosen people” of Israel.

A tv star and only good at that because he happen to have had a producer who knew how to make someone look good in spite of themselves.
He is a loser who basically has never really done anything else.

BREAKING: Donald Trump stuns America's closest allies by delivering a jaw-dropping defense of murderous Russian dictator Vladimir Putin at the G7 summit — sounding more like a KGB agent than the American president.
There's no benign explanation for this behavior...
"The G7 used to be the G8. Barack Obama and a person named Trudeau didn't want to have Russia in, and I would say that that was a mistake, because I think you wouldn't have a war right now if you had Russia in," Trump said while standing beside Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
In reality, Russia was ejected from the then-G8 after they annexed Crimea from Ukraine, a flagrant violation of international law and a major precursor to the all-out invasion that would later follow. The idea that there wouldn't have been a war if Russia had been allowed to remain in the G8 is as patently absurd as Trump's claim that he would end the war within "24 hours" of becoming president.
"And you wouldn't have a war right now if Trump were president four years ago but uh, it didn't work out that way," continued Trump. "But it used to be the G8 and now it's I guess— What's that nine years ago? Eight years ago? It switched over."
"They threw Russia out which I claimed was a very big mistake even though I wasn't in politics then, I was very loud about it," he went on. "It was a mistake in that you spend so much time talking about Russia, he's no longer at the table. So it makes life more complicated. But you wouldn't have had the war. Uh and uh other than that I think we're going to accomplish a lot."
Throughout the outburst, Carney looked horrified by Trump's remarks.
This full-throated endorsement of Putin's agenda comes amidst heightened tensions between the United States and the member nations of the G7. The summit is being held in Alberta, Canada and Trump has repeatedly alienated our northern neighbor with talk of making them the "51st state." The relationship has been further strained by his disastrous tariffs, which have also alienated the other nations.
By the time Trump is done, America will have no friends left on the world stage and our adversaries will be stronger and more emboldened than ever.
Only a lunatic like Trump could go to another country and talk like that. No wondered Prime Minister Carney looked as he did. I think it true — when Loon is around we will always be losers. What a horrid humiliation this man who facies himself a president has been and continues on.

Likely something to this. Most of us on this side did not watch so I wouldn't know, but I generally really trust Occupy Democrats for accuracy and frankly, if you make the picture bigger, it does seem lackluster and as though soldiers are out of step.

WOW. There are truly no words. "VA hospital bylaws previously barred medical staff from discriminating against patients “on the basis of race, age, color, sex, religion, national origin, politics, marital status or disability in any employment matter,” The Guardian reported. But now, in response to President Donald Trump’s January executive order on “gender ideology,” “national origin,” “politics,” and “marital status” have been removed from the list, allowing medical staff to deny treatment based on their personal politics, according to the newspaper."
My umbrage and quite enormous dislike gone on forever.

There is incompetence by the numbers. How ridiculous.
