MTG needs to read the quote engraved on the National Archives that reads: "The past is prologue". If she had ever taken a history class and stayed awake long enough to absorb the facts of the Civil War, she would know that her plan is doomed to failure. It happened once and it is certain to happen again. What a nut job and this is the best GA has to offer?

Omg, the Republicans are really milking the East Palestine train derailment. Local Fox news has dozens of stories every day about it. Trump visited the town yesterday and acted like school children were shot and killed, he was all about praying for the poor people affected by the train wreck in which no injuries or deaths from the accident occurred. The large, young, white male mayor of EP shook Trump’s hand and said Biden did not care for the people of the town, and JD Vance, DeWine and other state Republicans politicians all made sure to get their faces and names in the pictures. I get that people were affected, but the water has continually been tested and declared safe, and the vinyl chloride does not stay in the air after several days. The accident was Feb. 6. Meanwhile, so much industry resides along the Ohio River including coal fired electric plants, a humongous chemical refinery plant upriver, steel mills and coke plants all in our area. They have continuously discharged god only knows what into our water and air for decade upon decade. But Republicans are blowing the EP train derailment significantly out of proportion here to rile up Trump’s base. It is disgusting.

Saw a story where Cincinnati shut down their water intake from the Ohio river. For testing. What about all the towns upstream? Did they shut down too? I used to swim in the Ohio when a kid. DH played in the Little Miami. Lots of creeks and rivers in state to get contaminated. Nothing good to come of this.

Reps = very shameless press. They really don't care, and fact is -- help from Biden has been refused because in the long run it is not that needed and if you take it, you can't cry foul. They are all so disgusting. They do unfortunately really have it down pat though. Like betrayal, I think Ohio really deserves better. Be great is the up-coming election helped.

Well, I don't think the Loon got to Ohio and the problems there any faster than he went to a couple other places to get his precious photo-ops. He is so deeply disgusting. though the ones that have ill feeling for Democrats seem able to ignore anything the wasted chunk of body material does. I'd be beside myself except I've learned to just stay here because you can count on the Loon to do anything that is vile and hateful.
I can only cross my fingers and hope that someone will indict the man soon. I also hope that his legal teams are going to continue getting sanctions for the suits they bring that are not germane and only waste time. Actually, I've wondered more than once how he keeps up with all the lawsuits and legal maneuvers he creates. It should all fall away and he should be in jail while his fortune is used to pay off everyone he owes even a dime too. Be great if the family members who chose to enter and continue his schemes should also get the same treatment. Not holding my breath on any of it but I have more hope than I did.

I respect the rule of law and like for things to be done correctly, but just every once in a while, someone comes along that is so undeniably guiltier than sin and in fact, for most of his ugly life -- they should go directly to jail and stay there and lose ALL their ill-gotten gains of any kind.
Tiresome that ALL get subjected to this Loon charade of innocence. His unfamiliarity with ethics, justice and honestly are legion.
