I'm sure this one is about the Loon, but I can think of a number of Reps., I wouldn't mind in reference to this.

I know she isn't truly for we Democrats but I certainly respect that she stands up to her own party.

Was he ruined before he got in with the Loon or sometime after. In any case, he is a useless person who doesn't know where reality actually resides.

The Loon and his lawyers trying to make pretzels. I think the judges and prosecutors won't be moved one iota.

BREAKING NEWS: The brilliant Rep. Jamie Raskin masterfully handed Republicans their asses after they prevented Hunter Biden from testifying--AFTER THEY SUBPOENAED HIM.

Read his entire statement and give your thoughts in the comments:

"Let me get this straight. After wailing and moaning for ten months about Hunter Biden and alluding to some vast unproven family conspiracy, after sending Hunter Biden a subpoena to appear and testify, Chairman Comer and the Oversight Republicans now reject his offer to appear before the full Committee and the eyes of the world and to answer any questions that they pose?

What an epic humiliation for our colleagues and what a frank confession that they are simply not interested in the facts and have no confidence in their own case or the ability of their own Members to pursue it.

After the miserable failure of their impeachment hearing in September, Chairman Comer has now apparently decided to avoid all Committee hearings where the public can actually see for itself the logical, rhetorical and factual contortions they have tied themselves up in. The evidence has shown time and again President Biden has committed no wrongdoing, much less an impeachable offense.

Chairman Comer's insistence that Hunter Biden’s interview should happen behind closed doors proves it once again.

What the Republicans fear most is sunlight and the truth."

This is so true. Hunter Biden has been "studied" for a long time and nothing found as has been Pres. Biden. Not sure why the Reps. are so certain they could and should try to score on people who may have some issues, but nothing even close to the Hell and in-humanity (not to mention felonious and evil) by the Loon and their party. It is rather incredible — and noted they wish to ignore ANY possible REAL transparency. Great shame to them and their party and their "leader".

We need more Jamie Raskin's and Liz Cheney's. Both seem to focus on revealing the idiosyncrasies of the GOP. They speak the truth and don't sanction lies from any member.

I was only able to watch a little of Roselyn Carter's beautiful service. What a wonderful, and I think somewhat unappreciated, person she was.

    Pessimists see only the dark side of the clouds, and mope;
philosophers see both sides, and shrug; optimists
don't see the clouds at all--they're walking on them.

You are so right Ruth. I only watched a bit of Rosalynn's service too. She truly was un-appreciated for the things she did, and which she always did in compassion and love. Those who truly care do if from their heart and soul — not for recognition and that was Rosalynn. That is what makes her life story a really wonderful one. I'm sure she is going to be soooo missed by former Pres. Carter. I wish him much peace in his remembrance of his life with Rosalynn.

Melania Trump Is Reportedly "Not A Presence At Mar-A-Lago At All" Since They Left The White House...

Even though this was put in Addicting Info, and I've found them mainly reliable, I don't really know what to make so much of this. I've heard both ways about Melania in regard to the WH. That she really wanted (and why wouldn't you) a stand-out First Lady and then again that she didn't. Seems with most of what I read that the Loon and others didn't want Melania showing up for it and getting recognition for good things. Not sure if they thought the Loon would be doing good things they didn't want up-staged. Who knows with that bunch. I do think she was prevented from most things other than what really had to be given as her part.

Have to wonder how much she really cares about the Loon and if she ever did. She often seems to think as much of herself as Trump. I see them as mainly one and the same. Selfish and destructive and willing to use each other as well as anyone else. They belong together and not infecting anyone else.

I can't imagine Melania (or any woman) likes anything about Trump except his money.

I will say, feel sorry for or hate her, I'm glad she showed up for Rosalyn's service yesterday. That is the right thing for a former First Lady to do.

Yes, it was nice to see all the First Ladies at Rosalyn Carter’s funeral service. I had to wonder what Michele Obama was thinking the whole time as she had to sit next to her. There were some online comments that the gray tweed coat Melania wore was somewhat controversial as pretty much everyone else wore solid black. One of her former WH aides said Melania used the occasion as a “catwalk” for a photo op. At least with her in attendance, her fart face husband didn’t have to appear and muck up the service honoring and paying respects to Rosalyn’s life. At any rate, I don’t think Melania probably knew much at all about who Rosalyn Carter was or the causes she stood for including her support of women’s rights and all she did to make inroads for women.

BREAKING: Home Depot’s billionaire Founder drops bombshell, reveals that he will throw his money behind indicted 2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump — even if he’s found guilty and convicted of insurrection and trying to steal Biden’s win.

    But it gets WORSE…

The Founder, Bernie Marcus shamelessly declared today that the Justice Department’s prosecution of Trump, although it has already produced mountains of incriminating evidence, is “all trumped up” — and that “of course” he will be “supporting” Trump in 2024 — despite the 91 felony charges against him.

Worse still, Marcus even published a fawning pro-Trump op-ed in which he urged voters to “not let Trump’s brash style be the reason we walk away from his otherwise excellent stewardship of the United States during his first term in office.”

The Home Depot Founder’s delusional remarks speak volumes — because there was nothing “excellent” about Trump’s presidential term — which culminated in a deadly insurrection after a ghoulishly mismanaged Covid outbreak that led to millions of Americans losing their lives and the alienation of America’s top allies around the globe.

Sorry, Bernie Marcus, but just because Trump showered billionaires like you with tax cuts doesn’t mean that he was a good president — and it certainly doesn’t mean that Trump deserves to become president again in 2024.

It seems for some, becoming extraordinarily rich means being able to let your inner mental defective out to roam loose among people who are otherwise well.

I cannot imagine how you liken " brash style " to someone denying the problem of Covid ignored mostly until coming up with drinking bleach and put lights up your backside. Hello Bernie Marcus. You have someone in your head who is almost as insane as Trump. You should get a grip. It's only money and look what it is doing to you.

A far as Melania attending the funeral, her choice of clothing sought to draw attention to her (par for the course) rather than having the focus on Rosalynn. Typical selfish Melania behavior in my estimation.

As far as hating vs loving her, I opt to ignore her since that censures her more than giving her either attention option. She is not worthy of my attention or is any grifter.

By the way, thank goodness there is no Home Depot around us. We have to drive almost to the border about 75 miles to the West of us to find one of their warehouses. What little we need we can get either here in town or in Mt. Vernon at Lowe's or Menard's or at a smaller lumber yard in a town 9 miles from us. Reading the above is the best reason I know not to even consider going inside the place even if I'm right next door to a Home Depot.

Interestingly enough, I just read an article by several mental health Dr.'s and specialists who felt that as the Loon's trials and troubles persist and get worse, he will to and one of the next signs that would be seen is a big paranoia. His speech and actions will grow more to reflect the paranoia.
