Amorphous calcifications

I’m a frazzled newbie here. I was told today during a routine mammogram that I have new amorphous calcifications in my left breast and will need more imagining and a biopsy on Friday.

I’m just sick as you all can relate to I’m sure. Just wanted someone to talk to

    LKC - it is totally normal to be called back for more imaging - another mammo, an ultrasound or even a biopsy. Especially if they don't have prior studies for comparison. Try to find something to engage your mind - like binge watching TV or long walks. Good Luck. Be sure to ask Friday when you will get the results if they don't tell you while you're there.

    I too am having a biopsy next week for calcifications. Right now my mindset is, well if it is an early cancer, the mammogram did exactly what it is supposed to do. Not sure why that keeps me sane while waiting. Good luck on your results!!

    Thanks for your reply. I will take those words with me tomorrow when I go to my biopsy.
