Mosquito Bites

I had an axillary clearance procedure in 2011 and haven’t had much issue with lymphedema. Yesterday I got three mosquito bites on that arm. The bites got enormously red and swollen and several different areas on my arm, upstream from the bites, developed mosquito bit-y looking hives. I took a Benadryl and they gradually settled down. Does the sluggish lymphatic flow clear the mosquito spit so slowly that reactions pop up along the lymphatic channels? Weird. I know this can trigger a lymphedema flare so I’ll be using bug spray and staying indoors when it’s mosquito-o’clock

I’ve had that happen on my leg, not my LE arm.

I once had a bee sting on my LE hand. I immediately taped a frozen piece of aloe on it until all of the gel was absorbed. The bite was gone the next day.
