Hello - on the Tyrer-cuzick risk calculator, does a 10 year risk of 7.3% for breast cancer. And a lifetime risk of 11.2% mean a high risk? Thank you

I just took that test to see what it is. I put in my stats when I was diagnosed and it said I have a 10 year risk of 2.9% and lifetime of 8.5%. Not so sure how accurate it is. No calculator can predict the future, we are not statistics.

But to answer your question, that is not a very high risk. Just get your mammograms!

We have this research news piece on the Tyrer--Cuzick Risk calculator from 2018: https://www.breastcancer.org/research-news/risk-assessment-tool-accurate-for-19-yrs

Not certain about the diversity however of the population of the people who participated.

Beats me but just for funsies I went and took it, entering my information from a couple of months before I was diagnosed. I was lower than average so it wasn't accurate with me. Mammograms are your best friend.
