Please add our friend , ParakeetsRule. She passed away on 10/22/24 at 44 years old. She was a supportive stage IV member of BCO and an active participant in the MBC stage 4 zoom Tuesday evening group and the MBC zoom for young members . I admired her humor and zest for life despite stage 4 - which included buying her first home in 2022 . She will be missed .

Thanks for posting this, Aprilgirl1. I remember Parakeetsrule and hadn't seen her presence here for quite some time. (I could be wrong here, but had she been in the military? Might unfortunately have her mixed up with someone else in that one regard, but I know I remember her and enjoyed her posts.) Yes, she will be missed for sure - she had a liveliness that was unique and nice to have here; very wonderful contributions that she made. Very sad.

@threetree , she was a former member of the military - good memory ! I'll miss her on our Tuesday zoom. Loved that she bought her first home as a stage IV gal and had the most beautiful wallpaper in the room where she was on zoom .

I am sure this was an oversight but Puffin who posted on "Can we have a forum for older people?" passed on October 11, 2024. She was a valued poster and her friend Rebecca, noted she passed peacefully. I will miss her.

Can you please add my dear sister Ellen. Aug. 27-2024. MBC at age 50, died at 60. So young.
I was diagnosed 3 years after her, and without her urging I may not have established health care when I did. She saved my life. I miss her dearly and this has been very hard on her family.

Anna C. (amontro) has been added to our In Memoriam list, she will be greatly missed.
Her daughter has relayed the following message from Anna for all of you, which Anna had been so grateful to have known and received much comfort:
"[Anna] wants the women to keep hopeful as she did, and outlive their diagnosis happily and peacefully as she did."
