Woke up to sore swollen breast

in Stage I Breast Cancer

2 years after I have finished treatment I woke up and noticed the breast I had surgery in appears very swollen and sore. I am extremely nervous that it might mean something since this is my second time. Could it be a simple infection, waiting for appointment to see doc.

    Hello sunny. Sorry you are having a problem with your breast and I'm glad that you have already made an appointment to get it checked. Of course it could be an infection but you're smart to have it checked regardless. Hopefully your appointment will be soon because waiting is always hard. Hang in there and let us know what the doctor says.
