DIM and hot flashes

Anyone take DIM? Its helping except im experiencing hot flashes while on it.  Anyone have experience? I have the headaches and body aches but didnt expect hot flashes.  How do i know if it lowers estrogen too much or if it’s just an estrogen flush out effect?  Thanks!

HI Toots,

Dim is great. I'm a firm believer that it will attack my cancer. I get hot flushes from Tamoxifen, but not from Dim. I also attribute my body aches to Tamoxi, not Dim. I did get headaches from Dim, but they have gone after taking it about 4 weeks. I think it improves your hormone ratios. It doesnt lower Estrogen, but increases good eastrogens and lowers the ones that cause the cancer. this balance also assists with reducing hormonal symptoms (menopause symptoms). I'm a believer and I have recently doubled my dose (naturapath recommended), now on 600mg/ d… loving it!
