Navelbine chemo

Options

Just started oral Navelbine for lung mets

(Was on Xeloda for a year some lung progression in October 23)

Not much recent info here on this therapy but seems to be working for me

120 mg once per week for 8 weeks reduced

CA15 from 84 to 40

Now on 140 mg

No major side effects

Ct scan and Bone scan in 3 weeks

Bright in Hope

    @bright55 I know you posted this a year ago, and was wondering if you are still on this treatment? It’s been mentioned as a possibility for me. Hope all is well. ❤️

    Hi @rischaller

    This therapy was kinder than Xeloda as no major side effects other than loosing hair and mouth throat ulcers on full dose… reduction was manageable and hair regrew

    Lasted till December when Ca15 markers increased again to 135

    Seems to be the norm for me as lung mets were stable and no other changes

    Now trying Enhertu

    @bright55 thanks, appreciate your responding. Good to know it was manageable. I was on Enhertu for 5 months , it was quite manageable - just did not last too long for me. My skin Mets started to grow while I was on it. Good luck with it. There is an active Enhertu thread here, if you have not yet found it. Many gals have been on it for years.

    Not sure what treatment is next for me, this or Eribulin. Have a great weekend, ❤️
