Any diabetics who did icing for their hands and feet?

in Chemotherapy - Before, During, and After

Dear All. My Mom is diabetic and thinking of freezing hands and feet during chemo to prevent neuropathy. How does that work for diabetics? Has anyone done it?

I don't want to cause more harm.
