in DCIS (Ductal Carcinoma In Situ)

hi All,

My sister is undergoing for chemo for DCIS Er and Pr positive, nonow she is on taxol drug but she become so weak and few side effects are effecting her life style so now doctor suggested to take taxetre from next chemo cycle can some one suggest which is better and less side effects and she is 37 years old

    I am sorry to hear about your sister. Are you certain she is being treated for DCIS? I ask because chemo is almost never recommended for pure DCIS as DCIS is not invasive. Is it possible that some IDC was found as well?
