Breast pain
I had IDC at the end of 2019 with lumpectomy and reduction surgery. This past week and a half, I've had uncomfortable pain in the same surgical spot that comes and goes. It's like a burning feeling. I'm FREAKED OUT! I have an appointment with my oncologist next week and am due for my yearly mammogram. Has anyone had something similar? Does breast pain mean a reoccurrence? Any of your experiences or advice is welcome and appreciated,

I understand why this is worrying you and I’m glad you have an appointment set up. Recurrence, and you are talking about a possible local recurrence, does not have any one way it presents itself. Try to distract yourself until you see your mo as that is the only way you’ll know what’s going on. Most of us know how easy it is to speculate or go down dark paths, but that is never helpful and generally creates unneeded stress. Take care1
