Hi,
I had this treatment a few months back, in March.
I got my infusion on a Friday morning, and started having flu-like symptoms on Friday night; they lasted all weekend, through Sunday afternoon. By Monday morning I was 100% out of it, and never got any symptoms again. When I say flu-like, I mean chills and muscle and bone pain. On Saturday I was on the couch all day with ibuprofen or tylenol or whatever they recommended -can't remember. The pain moved from one bone or limb to the next. Very weird -but short-lived. You can do this. Just don't plan on running a marathon or throwing a party the day after the infusion, because you may not feel up to it.
A few weeks later, I realized some vague back pain I used to have had disappeared, and I realized my bones felt stronger. Eg my arms when doing push ups, my legs when running, my back when swimming butterfly -I am kind of active.
Hope other will chime in with their own experiences, I am curious to read them.
Best,

Does Reclast cause serious stomach problems or effect your swallowing? I have gastro problems and difficulty swallowing (I have an EDG scheduled in two weeks and expect it to improve my swallowing).
I've read about all the medicines for Osteoporosis and they all scare me! I need hip surgery but the doctors won't perform the surgery until I take something for my bad Osteoporosis.
Thank you for any insights you can give.
