Male breast cancer advocacy strategiesI

Over the past 10 years, so much has changed for me personally. Fortunately, the message that breast cancer is a genderless disease has grown significantly, and community awareness is much more widespread. To assist those looking to advocate, here are some of the strategies I've found effective to help raise awareness and ensure that men with breast cancer are both recognized and supported.

Thanks Traveltext. I signed up for the newsletter. I also have, over the years, tried to educate some of my friends and acquaintances about the fact that men get this disease too, and that the overwhelming female focus of this disease makes it very difficult for them to be heard and understood, adequately treated. These organizations and the rhetoric need to get away from the "pink thing" for a number of reasons. Thanks for doing what you do!
