Hi @livingbyriver, I’m sorry that you are going through the stress of waiting for a biopsy result. I sympathize since I’m waiting for the results of a thyroid biopsy done yesterday. The thyroid surgeon thinks it’s probably benign but the radiologist disagrees; I guess one of them will be right. Try to keep busy to distract yourself but that is more easily said than done. Here’s hoping we both get good results. If not, in my experience, coming up with a plan of action makes you feel less anxious. Let us know how it turns out.

    The waiting anxiety is terrible.

2.8mm is tiny though, and bodes very well if it is cancer.

@Livingbyriver, I am sorry you are going through the 'waiting' anxiety, most everyone will say it is the worst-because it is. Please try to find something to keep yourself busy. Like needs.a.nap (love that name), in the beginning, I spent a lot of time on this site gleaning any piece of comfort. Reading others' experiences, knowing I wasn't alone was helpful. You will get through this. Big hugs!
