diagnosis and treatment

My diagnosis is Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Grade 2. Saw my surgical oncologist today who said because of size of mass and calcifications all around it he would do mysectomy of my right breast. I am fine with that. Ready to get the ball rolling! Haven’t got my HER2 results back yet. Waiting on that to see if I will need before surgery treatment of any kind. So glad to have a plan of action and move on! Best wishes to everyone ❤️

Hi @livingbyriver, I’m sorry that you have to join the rest of us here but glad that you met with the surgeon and have a plan of action. There are always other pieces of the puzzle that get added in later like the HER2 results. I hope your treatment goes well.
