Joint pain

Hi @kcioma, It seems odd to only have pain in the middle of the night but when you are asleep you don't avoid body positions that can lead to it. You might try taking an OTC NSAID before you go to sleep or when the pain wakes you up. Some people find that Volteran gel which is applied topically relieves joint pain better than a pill.
I have nerve pain that wakes me up for which I take gabapentin. My doctor thought I should take the 300 mg all at once but I have had more success taking one 100 mg pill before bed and then each other one when I inevitably wake up. I sleep in three segments but I get more sleep that way. I hope you find something that works for you.

Welcome, @kcioma! We're sorry you find yourself here, but we hope this community can be a source of support, encouragement, and information for you.
We second what maggie15 recommended, an OTC anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen can offer some relief. Additionally, people in the community have also reported that taking Claritin once daily has helped! Some anecdotal evidence suggests Claritin can reduce joint pain caused by aromatase inhibitors by blocking histamine. The research behind it is mixed, but definitely worth talking to your doctor to see if it's something you might want to try.

Thanks for all the feedback.
I should have mentioned that I have tried pain relievers, Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen and Aleve and none help the pain. I have taken these before bed and also when the pain happens.
I will try the Claritin suggestion and see if that works.
