Concern over weight loss while on piqray
Hello All,
This is my first time here.
Is anyone on piqray here and experiencing severe weight loss. My mother has been diagnosed with MBC and has been on Piqray for over a month (after PIK3CA mutation detected in the liver biopsy test, previously been on Ibrance).
Fortunately her blood sugar levels are quite ok, around 150-160, not seen much of a spike. Not much of skin rash, no diarrhea, no nausea/vomiting so far. She is stable as far as her vitals are concerned.
It is her weight loss that is worrying us. Due to loss of appetite, loss of taste, she is unable to eat much. Her oncologist says things would be ok after 2 months. We hope so too. Do things get better after 2 months or so with this drug.

Thank you. I have had a look at the thread you mentioned about piqray users. I was specifically looking for posts/comments related to weight loss while on this drug and whether users felt better over time. I did find one or two posts there related to weight loss. I will recheck on that thread. I might have missed few posts. Thanks again for the help.
