Implant got infected

I have not been here in a while. Three years ago I was diagnosed with Lobular stage 3b no nodes. Had chemo and rads and a DMX with reconstructive surgery.
Fast forward to today. I had revision surgery 1 month ago. Everything went well until I got a sudden infection on the side that was radiated three years ago. So my PS said that implant had to come out. So another surgery for it to be removed. Now have to wait a while for it to heal. Once it has healed I start again.

My question is. How long did it take you to heal? And when they replaced the lost implant what procedure did they go through? Did you have expanders again etc. or was it simply a time that you got a new implant without issue??
