Has anyone had success with DO IT YOURSELF Cold Capping to prevent hair loss

I’ve found that Cold Capping for an AC-T regimen (4 AC and 12 Taxol treatments) will cost $4,700.00 in Ontario. Was wondering if anyone had success with purchasing their own cooling caps and just using ice vs dry ice to cool caps. If so what caps did you purchase and how many?

@kl12345 Not a DIY solution but my cancer center had a grant for cold capping available when I went through chemo - it may be worth asking the question.
