Hi all, I wanted to start a forum for all us that are using the cold caps to try to save our hair. I am on FEC100 X3 followed by Taxotere X3. My dosage unfortunately is not a guaranteed success. I am 40 days out from my first treatment and will have my third June 17. So far I have thinned but have not required a wig. I…

I’ve found that Cold Capping for an AC-T regimen (4 AC and 12 Taxol treatments) will cost $4,700.00 in Ontario. Was wondering if anyone had success with purchasing their own cooling caps and just using ice vs dry ice to cool caps. If so what caps did you purchase and how many? Thanks in Advance.
hi all, Am starting AC-T and wanted to know if there is any up to date advice or tips to consider? I have heard cold cap isn’t good with it but will use it anyway. Anyone used Paxman with AC-T? Welcome any tips to keep me sane!
Hi everyone I am about to start treatment and want to do the cold capping but I’m terrified at how painful it could be? Any insight on how to mentally prepare for it or how it feels Thank you xx
How do I get this Cold Capping treatment at my hospital? I've done research on it & I've found that DigniCap & Paxman have the automated machines, but my hospital isn't one of them. (the closest place is over an hour away). What do I do? I'm on Medicare & it does only cover the automated ones. My 1st treatment is next…

hi all, Interested to hear if anyone has used Daniel Field’s chemo products to work with cold caps and their success rates. Such as the silicon pad and the cooling booster? And what chemo were you on? I am starting AC-T and I will be using the Paxman cooling caps. Thank you!

Does it keep coming out? With each chemo session (my 2nd one is tomorrow) will I just lose the other 50%? It's so disheartening.
