Doxil
hi my name is Ashley I was diagnosed with stage four inflammatory breast cancer at age 28 back in 2021. I recently got changed to doxil on the 3rd of April and I can’t even keep water down. I haven’t ate in two weeks. This is the worst chemo I have ever had I don’t understand why I can’t even keep water down. I went to get fluids and nausea meds thro my port or whatever and I was throwing up not even 12 hours later … I don’t know if I can handle not eating or drinking like this….

@awalls618 Gosh, Ashley, I'm so sorry you're going through this. Has your care team prescribed some meds for the side effects? I did have two months of doxi, and it was definitely no picnic, but I didn't experience what you are describing. I think nausea and vomiting are pretty common, though, and they should have meds for that.
