SGAP-15 years out
Hello,
I am curious how many of you have had SGAP procedure and your results after at least 10 years. I am 17 years out and about 4 years ago, my left leg has gone numb somewhat and had to go to physical therapy. I am not sure if this was related to any nerve damage that may have been due to the flap taken from my butt. I have tried to research this; however, have not found any statistics on SGAP results years later. I also had an x ray of the buttocks and is was fairly normal; it did show a few staples were left from the surgery.
Needless to say, the SGAP procedure for the breast failed within a week after surgery and I had to have emergency surgery to remove the flap. I then went with a tissue expander/implants.
Any information would be appreciated regarding the leg/buttocks area would be greatly appreciated.
