Kris Blake was an absolute one in a million. She was kind, caring, and helpful to everyone. She had extensive knowledge of MBC of different types, and was continually renewing it with the latest information. I dont know how she did it but she was able to help everyone in the group when they were looking for answers relating to their specific disease status. I referred to her as my MBC Wikipedia although her knowledge went far beyond just MBC.

She made me take a second look at my approach to MBC and death. From fear and palpitations each time I imagined disease progression and possibility of treatments failure. I now remind myself that its just another stage of my treatment cycle. Ktis made a firm and brave decision. Through her, I learnt the value of quality over quantity.

Rest in peace Kris. We love you. We miss you. But youre in a good place.

We miss you KBL. I am grateful that I met you. Sharing our lives through this difficult diagnosis wasn't easy, but I was comforted in your compassion for my story. I pray for you in Heaven and for your family. Rest in Peace, KBL. <3 Sincerely, with love - Mika Jenkins

I will remember her forever for her kindness and generous gift of her time in helping me and so many others on this forum. She was a light that made dark hours easier to bear and a guide for those of us walking beside and behind her in experiencing de novo MBC. I miss her dearly without ever having met her, but her words in these forums will live on to continue helping others. What a legacy and a blessing! Rest In Peace, Kris.

@whirlwind I’m sorry to see that you’ve had progression lately. I hope the radiation helps with any pain you had in your femur. ((Hugs))
