Details:

Researchers at Mass General Brigham and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute are conducting a research project to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots can make clinical trial consent information clearer, more accessible, and more supportive for patients. We are inviting adult cancer patients (≥18 years old) to join a virtual focus group and share their perspectives, experiences and ideas. No prior experience with AI and/or chatbots is needed.

Who Can Participate:

What to Expect:
Participants will take part in an online focus group with other patients and our research team. We will discuss experiences with clinical trial consent, challenges in understanding or explaining trial information, and ideas for improving the process with technology. Participants will receive a $100 gift card as compensation for their participation.

@kks_11 We reached out to the researchers to make sure they are still recruiting - this is their response:

"Thank you so much for sharing our materials. Yes, we are still recruiting and I see that we received submission. We are in the process of scheduling the next group, and will start reaching out to interested participants in the near future."

So, hopefully you'll be hearing from them soon!

Thank you @moderators — they did reach out to me directly with similar messaging. It should be an interesting study!
