Itchy silicone implant after more than 10 years!

I am a breast cancer survivor after more than 10 years. I had a left breast mastectomy with a silicone implant. Currently I recently got over a bad cold with a terrible cough and I feeling pain & intense itching inside my implant! Could it be that due to the terrible coughing it caused damage to the implant? The itching is horrible!

    We're so sorry for the worries that bring you here, but we hope you'll get some replies soon from others who may have experienced something similar.

    Have you reached out to your breast surgeon or GP to share what you're experiencing? Perhaps they can schedule some imaging to make sure the implant is still intact?
