Breast Cancer
I am 69, just diagnosed this month. I would love to talk to any survivor (s) around my age or older?
I was there with my mom when she went through chemo, now I am much older than she was.😐️

@seasoned69, we’re so sorry you’ve had to join under these circumstances — but we’re really glad you reached out. ❤️ Being newly diagnosed at 69 can feel so isolating, and overwhelming.
And we really hear you about your mom. Sitting beside her through chemo and now finding yourself facing your own diagnosis must bring up so many emotions — it’s such a heavy full-circle moment. 😔
You are absolutely not alone here, and we know there are many members in their late 60s, 70s, and beyond who have been through this and would be so glad to connect with you. We hope they’ll see your post and share their stories.
Please keep talking with us — we’re here with you. 💗

Hi @seasoned69
Sorry you have had to join the club to which none of us want to belong, but very glad you have found us.
I am also 69 and did 4 rounds of chemo 3 years ago for my 2nd bc dx.
If you would like to share more about your dx, others in a similar situation might be able to share their stories with you. The virtual support groups mentioned by the mods are a good option for those who want to chat with each other.
Where are you at with your journey? Do you have questions that we can help answer for you?
We are here for you. You WILL get through this!
Take Care.

I'm younger, but wanted to comment anyway to offer a virtual hug. There are lots of amazing people here and I'm sure you'll find support from others who can relate. ♥️
