💛 February 2026 Chemo Check-In—This Is Your Circle 💛

If chemo begins for you this February, you don’t have to walk into it alone. This space is here so you can land somewhere soft, honest, and understanding—surrounded by people who truly know what this chapter can feel like.

Come as you are. Brave, anxious, exhausted, hopeful, unsure. All of it belongs here.

We invite you to share anything that feels helpful, including:
• What’s on your mind as chemo approaches
• Your planned regimen (only if you’re comfortable)
• How you’re getting ready—body, heart, and logistics
• Questions you’re carrying or things you’re wondering about
• Side effects you’re noticing and what’s helping (or not)
• Small wins, tough days, and everything in between

If chemo is already underway for you—or if you’ve completed it—your voice is incredibly powerful. The things you learned along the way, what surprised you, what helped you cope… those insights can steady someone who’s just starting out.

Let’s take this one day at a time together. We can share tips, vent when it’s hard, celebrate the tiniest victories, and even count down toward the finish line side by side. 🎉

As you prepare, you may find these resources helpful:
• Tips for Getting Through Chemo
• More Tips (and a Shopping List!) for Getting Through Chemo
• Our Chemotherapy section, with clear info on medications and regimens, managing side effects, questions to ask your care team, and more

And if you’re looking for deeper connection, our Virtual Support Groups are here for people in treatment—and beyond.

You are not alone in this. You are supported here, every step of the way.
Stronger than you think. Held more than you know. 💪✨

  • I’m having extremely dry nostrils since starting chemo. Any suggestions to alleviate the dryness?

Hi there, @marcasey! We’re sorry you’re dealing with dry nostrils. Many people find relief with things like:
    • A saline nasal spray used several times a day
    • A humidifier, especially at night
    • Applying a small amount of a gentle nasal gel or petroleum-free moisturizer inside the nostrils
    • Staying well hydrated

If the dryness becomes painful, causes nosebleeds, or doesn’t improve, it’s always a good idea to mention it to your oncology team, and they may be able to recommend something specific for you.

We’d also love to hear from others in treatment. What has helped you manage this kind of dryness?

    Warmly,
