Delayed Reconstruction..5 wks post up. What did he do??
Hi everyone. I am five weeks postop and due to see my surgeon this Wednesday.. I’m trying to prepare myself because what I asked for and what he did seem to be two different things. I had existing implants and decided on doing a simple explant with a lift on my good side.. on my cancer side he has done a tuck and roll with my nipple in the centre of the fold on the breast. I’m already finding this an issue because it is hot and moist and I have no idea what he did or what kind of procedure this is called. I was also so adamant that I did not want any more surgeries and I was happy being basically flat. Does anyone know what this is or does anyone look like me? I’m nervous calling the surgeon out on what he did because I know most doctors don’t take criticism. I’ve searched a ton of pictures online and still can’t find anything where the nipple is buried inside like this. It was such a long wait for this and I’m just so angry. Thanks.

Did a breast reconstruction surgeon do this? Never seen anything like it. MN maybe find a fellowship trained sorciist for a second opinion,/ review?

Surgery was done by a breast reconstruction specialist.. with great reviews. I’m just trying to figure out how and why he did this.
