prepectoral breast implant revision - does it end the discomfort?

Hi everyone - it's been 10 years since I've been active in this community, so if you all have seen this question and answered it, sorry for the repeat!

I'm having my implants replaced on June 25 and have chosen to have the new ones placed above the chest muscle instead of below it, which is what was done the first time. I'm doing this surgery now because I've been in discomfort for over a decade - my chest feels tight enough to pop, and I feel it every minute of every day.

Can anyone who's had both types of placements tell me what to expect, especially if the discomfort finally diminished? Thanks so much!
