Asking for Tips - Starting Chemo Next Week
My port goes in Friday and I start 4 cycles of TC chemo that are three weeks apart on June 30.
I decided to not mess around won’t cold capping but embrace the opportunity to get purple hair that I’ve wanted for 40 years.
With that, what are people doing while they just sit there and wait for hours for the infusion? What has been the best distraction for you? My husband is my primary caretaker and he’s amazing but I’m having my mom come for little towards the end of the first infusion to give me a break and a change of company for me.
Anyway, I’m very anxious and coping by focusing on what I can control. Clearly.
