in Breast Reconstruction

just finished double mastectomy 2.5 weeks ago. Stage 1a grade 1 no lymph involvement k-67 7% hr+, PR + HER2 Positiveplastic surgeon schedule DIEP for Oct 8. Just saw med oncologist and recommended endocrine therapy. Do I wait till after Oct 8 surgery to start medicine due to side effects on body?

    Reach out to your PS and ask how long you will have to hold the med before your surgery. I had DIEP 5 years ago and my PS wanted me to hold the Letrozole before and after the surgery. Just don’t remember the length. That might help you to make a decision.
