Phesgo and itching on arms and shoulders
hello
I was wondering if any one has discovered the magic potion that helps with the arm and shoulder itching caused by phesgo and if people have found the itch is worse after been in sun?
to put into context, I started the injections in January but I only started itching late March snd was just occasionally and on my arms. However , over the summer it has got so bad to the point where I struggle to sleep because of it. Nothing I’ve tried helps, antihistamines, itch creams (I’ve bought so many different ones and no help at all ). My oncologist has put me on a course of steroids which don’t seem to be helpful and are referring me to dermatologist but my skin looks fine, no rash etc so not sure we’re going down right route!
I’ve still got 6 injections left, don’t know how I can go on itching like this 😞
any advise welcome, thank you 🤩

Hi @bevano123, welcome to Breastcancer.org. We’re sorry you’re dealing with such persistent itching, especially when it’s affecting your sleep, but really glad you found us. It would be great to hear what helped members cope with similar symptoms and if sun exposure had any impact. Has anyone else experienced itching while on Phesgo, even without a visible rash?
In the meantime, you can also search “Phesgo” using the search function on the boards to find ongoing and past discussions where members have shared their experiences and tips.
Here is also a helpful article from our main site:
Hope this helps! Come back to let us know how you're doing.
