Welcome St Jude and carolanne..we are hear for whatever you need.

Sandee we will be with you hanging in your pocket too.

It seems like most mo have mentioned AI after Tamoxifen but mine hasn't said anything. I started at 41 and will be 46 when I'm done could that have something to do with it?

Sherry..hope you are feeling better soon...gentle hugs

Alicia of course we will be with you too....my wings are getting exercise this week

Jo..yes I had a MRI when they were trying to find the tumors and I am claustrpohibic and had to take something to relax.

    Hugs Tammy ladies

WOW, I will wear my sneakers so I can jump on up into all these pockets this weeks.  JO's bringing snacks woo HOO.

Tinks ~ maybe your dr doesn't want to stress you about another pill just yet.

I now have a small circular rash on my calf, I think it's shingles or something ~  seeing my primary care dr at 12.  No need for pocket party for this one, I can handle it today !  :)

Since I am going for the MRI in the afternoon and I said I would bring the snacks I thought this sounded good.  Who can say no to chocolate and besides Valentine's Day is just around the corner.  Alicia - Would you bring the napkins please?

Let's see if I can catch up ...

Stjude - welcome.  I don't think anyone explained... the 5 year clock restarts when you switch from tamoxifen to Armidex, so get comfy, it's going to be a long ride!

CarolAnn- welcome!  I don't know about the shots so all I can say is welcome to the group!

Jo - MRI's are a breeze compared to what we've been through.  I'm allergic to strawberries but will be in the other pocket so I don't get a rash, ok?

Alicia - has your MO tested your hormones?  The gonadatropins show what stage of menopause you are in.  If so, what were you levels?  It's 100% BS (and I don't mean breast surgeon here) that you couldn't be post menopausal at 44. I am 41 and was perimenopausal before I started chemo at 40.  Chemo pushed me over the edge and I have been post menopausal since.  Have her test your hormones if she hasn't.  I switched to Arimidex after 3 months on Tamox (MO wanted 3 months just in case I restarted my cycles).  Don't settle for the easy answer! Oh, and I'll be in your pocket too!

Sandee - count me in for the pocket party!  I will bring chocolate and vodka!

Tink - ovary pain?  I used to only have ovary pain when I was ovulating (made getting pregnant very easy).  Could that be it?

Whew - anyone else I missed - hugs to all!

MamaV - I will put this one in my other pocket just for you.  I hope you are not allergic to anything on this plate.  I want to make sure everyone gets fed - LOL!

All righty gals....the Canadian pocket party has begun....definitely need a root canal and have set it for Valentine's day! no chocolate unless it is liquid that day! I could hear you ladies during my appointment - glad you were having a good time....might want to keep it down at the next gig..the funeral...starts in 45 minutes....think I may have to stuff a few kleenex around you.Jo, I am eating the chocolate now....and will be in yourpockets this weekend.

Tink- no pain in my ovaries...

Alicia- i had blood tests done to check if I was post meno..had not had a period in 26 months but was still considered menopausal...took the tammi for 4 months and then checked it again last july....POST MENOPAUSAL....big jump...was then put on the AI...have since taken myself off of it.I will b with you Friday Alicia!

    MamaV- thanks for the vodka!

Paula, Tink, Sherry, Ceeztheday - two more events and up you can come for air! thank you:):):

The rash is a fungus.  Maybe not drying properly as it is behind my knee in the crease or I got it from the gym or physical therapy.  I have 2 prescription creams.  I am grossed out thinking I have some fungus.  EWW ~

Hope everyone is enjoying their day !

Gals I am jumping in as well on all pocket parties, but I must say I have to decline the sweets only for times like this cause it seems like with all us ladies we do a lot of pocket parties and I now figured out why I am gaining weight.....

Alicia, it does seem weird to have a fungus, that is how I felt when I got my toenail fungus 2 years ago......yuck, who me???

Sandee now you are really cracking me up.....so sorry about your friend and how you are holding up okay.

Jo, Tink, Sherry, Mamav, Linda, love to you all and all the newbies as well

Tink:  I am having nagging pains in the area of my ovary (the only one I have left) and when they did the ultrasound to check the uterine lining, they said I had 2 cysts on that ovary...which is what I had suspected.  They will recheck those in April as they said they are functional ones and should disappear (although with my luck, they will still be there in April!!).  Have you had an ultrasound to check things out?

Shipmom...thanks. yes I had one in Nov. They said I had edometrial thickening on the upper limits of normal and cysts on the endometrium, didn't say anything about ovaries though. They said they will watch it and do a follow up in 6_12 months. It so feels like I'm getting my period maybe that is what it is... everything is so much more sensitive now...

Paula...now that is some eye candy if ever I've seen some... someone else may need to be the designated flyer lol....
