Karen - I have not heard of hormone pellets. I had talked to my gyn about testosterone for libido but she said she did not recommend due to not enough research on possible effects. She was not one who would prescribe so I've never tried anything like that. Sue hope you feel better soon!

Wahine - I hate that when you have to go out without makeup and all...but I know you looked gorgeous anyway! I was there, real small and saw you and you looked just great! That reminds me about yesterday when I had to drive down the street to my new mailbox and of course had to run into a neighbor when I hadn't even brushed my hair and was in sweats looking like a frumpy monkey...she was all dressed up to go into town and looked great. I'm glad the nurse set you straight too and let you know how great you looked.

Undy - You gotz 3 more chemos? Dat is great news you're getting so close to dun! Hang in there! My chemo was 6 cycles of CMF (cytoxan, methotrexate and love the last one called 5-FU)...that was two times a month I got M&F together by IV and then for 14 days I took cytoxan pills, then had 14 days off of everything. So I had a total of 12 IV infusions at the cancer center and 84 times I had to actually get pills out of a bottle and poison myself with them. Dang good fun. This was an older, first generation therapy and is the same thing my mom got back in the 1970's only she got it for a whole year due to she was stage IV at dx from HRT. She was cured of BC. Then 15 years later got a new primary ovarian. She had taxol for that, dang ovarian though, they don't usually catch it early enough.

Yippie Yi Yo Kai Aye! I am UNBOUND!!!! Dang, there were miles of 6" ace bandage (thought it was 4" prev), with velcro ends....so neat. BUT then under that I was covered in rolls of cotton, over betadyne. SO, cotton sticks to betadyne and incisions....I look like I have orange legs now, as betadyne isn't coming off! Plus cotton stuck ebberywhere. LOL. DH said it looks nice like I have tanned legs....I am  thinking *WTH, my legs were never ORANGE!!!* So nice to be able to bend at the knees..AND dr said I don't need to elevate legs while trying to sleep....HOORAY!

So.....I will prolly join you all for Pau Hana tonight!!!! WooHoo! And those of you on meds, if you can't dwink, I will happily dwink dose dwinks for ya. Ain't I nice? LOL.

relax dork ,it was 10 days after the viral symtoms started that i felt better, didn't get antibiotics until infection settled in my chest and ears from the coughing while wearing a mask in work, with working nights betadyne might be the only way i get any colour.

OR maybe we can install a spray tanning booth at the HTL...just gotta make sure there is always regular tanning spary in it and not the betadyne! Gotta get some color on ya since you gotta sleep during the day to be ready for work. I love (NOT) how the Dancing With The Stars instructors go so heavy on the spray tans...as sometimes it is SO overdone.

Ya don't know how badly I wanna go upstairs, but not allowed to yet. The treadmill is up there, so now, to get 30 min walk my dr wants me to do, I have been walking in circles and back and forth in all the main level rooms. Sorta boring that way, I much prefer watching movies and being on treadmill. I actually had to put something across the landing, so I won't foiget and run upstairs!!!

All the pre-ops and also right b4 surgery, they always ask how many dwinks you have. I am honest and say 2xday....then follow thru with the fact that my parents are in their 90;s and STILL have happy hour every night with 2 drinks each!
