Tied....good luck with the PS referral....hope you like the next one...I never asked to see pics from my PS, but they gave me names of people who were willing to talk to me....and a friend of mine had used him for breast reduction.....My BS gave me a list of several docs that she works with and he was one of them....and he made room in his practice for BC patients...all in all, I am pleased with him and would give him a postiive recommendation....

On my 2nd glass of cab....trying a new Spanish wine....its okay....don't think I would order it again.....Candle lighting is in 20 minutes.....most of dinner is done....I think I've keep the food to reasonable amounts rather than enough for a small army....that is except for veggies....I want a bit of this and a bit of that, so cooking 3 different ones.....green/yellow beans mix, articoke hearts and edamane....they are the ones you microve the bag so will have lots left over....but they will get eaten....

and ya know what? my mom used to demonstrate for Matel toys around the holidays and I got nearly every Matel toy made since she got to keep the toys she used to demonstrate with. I had the greatest doll as a kid, she was by Matel and her name was Dancerina. The doll was dressed like a ballerina and I would bend her legs then push on her crown and she would spin. I loved dat doll baby. She was all mine.  Which reminds me of another toy Mom demonstrated. That was a tootsie roll whistle maker - I had every flavor of tootsie roll, opened them and put them in a machiney ting, den the tootsie roll would make a cool whistle. But I had many rejects and ate way too many of the rejects....need I say more? I remember that night so well. I was quite sick from too much candy!

Neat, Dorkie, a child's dream.....to have a parent that brings home all those toys!! What a neat job she had. Love your story too.....funneeeee bout da toot-toot-tootsie rollies....love dem, I guess I wud have made sure to have lots of "rejects"!!! My kids liked a job I had when they were teens....I was a Nestle candy rep and we had an entire room full of candy, all organized by type and date...they were in heaven. No tootsie rolls though. But my youngest DD discovered "Chunky" bars, and still loves them to this day....introduces them to her friends who have never heard of them! Love the chocolate and raisins......now I want some candy. OR some eye-candy....send some of dem firefighters here....Mema can't have dem all....LOL.

Katitwinka, it was very fun having so many toys around our house.  Anudder ting my mom demonstrated was de Duncan yo-yo. It was a fad in de late 60's/early 70's to be able to work a yo-yo.  enjoyed many hours of working a yoyo. and dat IS a funny word. Hey yo yo, yo, yo-yo, wutzup?  hmmm, yes hmmm.

 mese lubbed de chunky bars, only saw dem here on halloween. I tink I am going to head to de dessert table of de lounge. oh and guess what goils? on dis dey, fwied-daey, mese again saw de license plate in me parking lot at woyk dat said "H T L"....I smiled so big when mese saw it.

NM, I am relieved that you are doing and feeling better. Glad you are taking the weekend off for some DMe time (as Scuby would say) You certainly desoyve it. Maybe a massage is in order, if not for real, then take a Tender (or 2) of your choice and keep them for the weekend! And Kudos to your PCP!

Mema, Stella may have zipped ober here to AZ, but I did not seeze her. She's a sneaky lil hang, ya know. The sprinkles halped yesterday. I did not sneeze at da dentist office or at da movies. Saw "This Means War". LOL at your CDO and your DH and doglets and chit! As for being blown off by docs, I had a similar situation. Mine told me that the huge lump in my breast was just an enlarged lymph node and not to worry about it. And it was left for almost a year, before anything was done, as he retired!

Karen, had to laugh at NM's comments to you about your wine and pee............LOL! Glad you are getting the wine tho.

Scuby, good news on your end for the tooth. Good deal. Also happy that you and DorK get to have that face time. The two of yooze need to embrace that hug and think of all of us, K?

DorK, you mentioned about Kathy and Junie and the tornadoes last year.....wasn't it Junie one year, got in the closet with Pancho (her furbaby) and had bicycle helmets on her and Pancho? Funny story about the Tootsie Rolls, but how lucky for you to get all those toys!

Morning Chicas! Just got up, still trying to wake up wif de cafe, SO lucky to have escaped and damage or injury....very lucky it did not hit our immediate area. AND so glad Alli that you are ok, and that your home escaped damage also....sounds like we both had devastating areas hit, not too far away (our area is about a 20-25 min drive, but now I think other areas were hit that are closer.....will have to see the news). SO glad you dad was there with your dogs, and could tell you that they are all ok!

Lori, Thanks for reminding me of Junie using the bike helmets...they say that is really a smart thing to do, but I never think of that! One year, the tornadoes were heading right for us, so DH drove down to the clubhouse, but I stayed in our coat closet as I had just started watching "Brokeback Mountain" on my portable dvd player! LOL He couldn't believe I wanted to stay in the closet.....almost a pun there! But of course you never really think it will hit your house. So many close calls yesterday, people in their tub holding on to ea other while their house is being torn apart, and having to hold TIGHTLY...feeling all that pressure. It surprises me when the expensive brick 2 story homes just crumble like nothing. And where do all the appliances end up? Last April when hundreds of homes were destroyed, I kept wondering where the appliances flew off too....or did they disintegrate? VERY scary! Had lots of phone calls last night from relatives across the country...since Huntsville and Madison were both mentioned on national news!

Yeah Alli, my BS and PS worked together too. The BS was supposed to start, and remove the breast tissue, then PS starts on his recon, etc. Well, since my PS was so good at the "upside down T" incision,  he marked me that am, but it was a HOT day and I was "glistening" so the darn marks all ran together by the time of my surgery at 6pm. Luckily earlier I had asked the PS if HE would start the incision, since I was afraid my BS would not cut it correctly. And they are both so sweet, so that is what they did. So that is why what the first PS (that I fired) said about him saving my life was so untrue, as it is the BS that removes the cancer and lymph nodes!!!

I am worn out from yesterday....so much "on edge" for 12 hrs, that it drains you. But we are so very thankful that we were spared the tornados wrath. ANY good DOTD's today? Like a "Storm Chaser" or sumtin???? I need some strong dwinks, and maybe I can sneak back with Jock and get a wonderful massage.....first I am jumping in da pool *kersplash*! OOPS, didn't see ya on da lounge Lori, didn't mean ta get ya all wet. OH, but now that I got you wet, I see Pants tilting your lounge and he is ready to dump you in the pool.... *splash*! Hi! Oh but Pants was nice after all, cuz he is floating some dwinks right over to us! ChEARS!!!!!

Morning Dahhlinks!  I'm wondering if WaWa and her family made it through the night without having to go to the clubhouse.  WaWa....ck in please, wese knows you were supposed to get another round of weather later last night.

NM - GR8 post!   Xanax is vundervull!  I did over do it yest.  Bout 11pm my knee was screaming at me.  Got up and grabbed the ice again.  Then my Bella was pacing n whining, pacing n whining.  I shooed her outside to potty.  Then she back in doing the same thing.  So I throw off the ice and pick her up...she stinks.  Now it's like midnight.  Into da tub we go...Poor goil all caked up in her widdle behind.  Took me 20 mins to get her cleaned up. Now it's play time for her.  Poor mese n Bax...wese tired n wanna sleep...not Bella.  Finally, about 2ayem all of snortin...LOL

Watched her dis morning, grabbed a sample, was loose...So will be calling the vet in a bit see if I can get her looked at.  Might jes be that she chews on and sometimes swallows stuff, twigs, pine needles, leaves, can't watch her 24/7, AND like I said, DH jes put down all that Mawnuare.  I'm hoping it's nothing serious.

Am not going to walk again this morning.  Called my GF, told her we'd shoot for Monday since I have to work tamary.

NM - I know that I will NEVER forget that PS's 'tude and will get with you soon about that issue.  Thank you so much for offering your expertise...ewes da bestest.  Glad you are feeling a bit clearer and tapering off the steroids.  That is no fun at all!  Thanks for the DOTD...sounds like something I can get behind tonite for sure. 

Bernie - LOL...lub da BIG MUAH.  My DD learned me that word on the phone texting.  I had to ask her what it meant.  Now seems I use it alot...so...MUAH back atcha!!  Lub da yoke too and hope that all the woyk piled on your desk helps keep your mind off of your troubles.  Will, as always, keep you in my prayers that you get some answers EARLY next week.

Alli - So glad you're OK.  I was thinking you n da Stella prolly spent the night in Ft Wayne.  I was soo Freaked.  Glad you having a good time, that the storms did not damage your house, that DH and furbabies are A-Okay too.
