    Greetings to Chevyboy - nice to see you back.  Jo, glad things are FINALLY moving forward for you!

    Special prayers for those of you with sick relatives and other stressors on top of your own personal BC battles.  It is just never easy, but with love and support from fellow humans, we can get through it.

    To the rest of you, sending best wishes for a good week, or at least a good Monday!  I have been so busy just could not post, but did a quick read of the last few days - lots and lots of hugs to you all as you face each day with courage.

    Lynn almost all my curls went away when she cut my hair.  The top is wavey but she thinks by the next cut they will be gone.  I will be so happy for that.

    Shari still have you and your family in my thoughts.  Hugs to you my girl!

    Paula - My b'day is not until April 21st.  I am having my LD flap surgery on the 18th and hope to be home on the 20th.

    I would like to know if your doctor told you you could break Tomoifen tablets in half?

    I asked my doctor\oncologist and he said absolutely NO !  did your doctors tell you it was ok?

    vickiif - I had so many issues with Arimidex and Femara.  When I started Tamoxifen I asked my MO about doing a split dose and he was all for it.  They do make 10mg pills I would think just for that purpose.  I now take the whole pill in the morning at  breakfast.  There are many sisters on here that take a split dose.  Did you ask your MO why he does not want you to split it?  I would be interested to hearing what his rational is.

    Vickilf  My onc never said not too, but if your looking to take 10mg in the am and 10 in the pm she can write you a perscription for that. When I first started splitting my dose I was cutting them in half when I went for my visit I told her and she said Ill just write you a script so you dont have to do that she didnt seem like it was a problem though that I had been doing that. ... Good luck!!!!

    Where is everyone today??? This thread is awfully quiet.  For 2 days DH and I along with some other help have laid laminate flooring in the living room and I finished the painting this morning and did the cleanup.  I took the day off to get this done.  I have so many vacation days i can afford to do this.  Also have my sewing room just about put back together - all the crap from the LR was in there.  Trying to get some projects together to work on once I get home from the hospital.  The 18th will be here before I know it and I want to be ready.

    Been thinking of our Sherry all day and hope she is out of surgery and doing well.

    Good Morning Tammi Babes - I talked to Sherry this morning and she is doing well.  The surgery was 4 1/2 hours and she is in some pain.  If she had lived in San Antonio, the doctor was going to send her home today but she lives an hour from SA and will be able to go home tomorrow.  She sounds really good and said she had visitors all day yesterday.  I am hoping to call her later today.

    Thanks for the update on Sherry, Jo.  It sounds as if you have been a busy bee over the past couple of days.  

    I hope everyone has a good day.  I've got lots of errands to run if I can ever get out of the house this morning.

    ilovemykids - went on a new cholesterol drug becauase the arimidex I was on for 7 weeks bumped up my cholesterol...it had been ok and then after the heart attack last year, they wanted it below 2..it was and then arimidex knocked it up again...you may mugight to bite the bullet and take an anticholesterol drug too...doesn't seem to have phased me.

    folks, I am headed to China for a month and may not be able to get on this American site from there..will check it out and if I can, I will. otherwise, I will send pictures..not sure about access to facebook either but you will see photos somewhere:)
