Oh Chrissy, we gotta pray really hard that the clot is GONE....dissolved, disappeared, never to return!!!! Glad you have that appt on Thursday, it will be such a relief if you can get rid of that med. (((((Chrissy)))))
Wow the Dorkster still has "IT"! LOL. That really would be something if you and your ex got back together. Did you tell him the story of my parents? NONE of us would have ever thought they would get back together.....ever. Thanks so much for sharing with us how yesterday went. The service sounded so nice, with all the memories that were shared, and the great, touching music. Sad to have lost him, but what a nice, fitting tribute to a great man. I am glad his son, your ex, is such a sweet man. BUT......do take things slowly if you do persue this idea, ok??? I know, with my first ex (didn't have kids), he was a sweet guy who got messed up and became an alcoholic, and violent with me. SO I had to leave, but then we remained friends, and I always thought we should just live next door to each other, and date. But later (after we both had remarried), I always wondered if we both were widowed if we would remarry (he still loved me)....but sadly he took his own life when he was in his 30's. It hurt me when his mom, etc., told me he always loved me, because sadly I knew I was unable to change his ways.
I kin partay with youse goils, but one dwink will prolly put me on de floor....cannot even do one, two, three, floor....would not make it that long. Mese tired and had tooooo much stress.
Bottomz UP!

LOL CHrissy, I though the same thing, when Dorkie said "Mr. Big"!
0 -
Yep, dat was Mr. Big in de house. Seems he "misses" us and we are much more fun den his new wife. So he said F her, mese going back to tedner at de lounge. hehe! Really, it was a typo of sorts, ya mese, mese dwunky in a way dat made me foyget dat we now has Mr. Bigger. But mese decided to roll with it. Whatta ya all say, can we have mr big and mr bigger too?? I say why not!!
Katydwinka, I hope yous sleep goodliest after being on de rollar coaster ride. And tanks for de advise. Trust me, I am not moving at all on my thoughts of reconciling with the ronald (my ex). For now, I will continue to enjoy his friendship. But who knows what the future could bring. I can't say it is out of de question. Thanks for your kind words, my FIL was a great man. One of the speakers, who I forgot to mention, was a coworker of his named Sam. He was a short and skinny black gentleman who was really down on his luck. Sam had a family and three kids. He met my FIL through a food bank that my FIL had organized many years ago. My FIL was very fond of this man and got him finanicial assistance through the state, set him up with a resume and eventually got him a job at the state where he worked. My FIL had also helped hiim out by driving him to and from work as Sam did not have a car and was going to take public transportation. Sam eventually got himself a car after a few years of employment and started driving himself to work but then realized that his day was not complete without his monring chat with my FIL. So they resumed car pooling together, had frequent dinner parties at each others home and were great friends. My FIL spend his life helping others and many who knew him would say that he is the greatest person they've ever met. I like to think that my DD gets her love of helping others from him. They were very close. My FIL's grandkids though were the light of his life. He will be sorely missed by all whose lives he touched, dat true!
So Mr. Big, uhhh, if you want to hang here, you and Mr. Bigger have to have a "big off". Yep, dats right, wese got to know who biggliest and we will make it a partay event. Yippee, I so forcited. Can we keep both....pleeeeeeeeze??
Pants, one more round please. Anyone here? Me gonna dwink den crash out right here in de lounge. If yese come in and wanna partay, wake me de hail up, mese always ready to partay!
Chrissy, what Kathy sez. Pants, get my Chrissy more dwinks please. She desoyve some pampering you know??
Cheers!!

GR8 ideeeeeeaaaa, Dorkster! We kin habs Mr. Big AND Mr. Bigger....and I like your idea of having a "big off".....OMG you are SOooooooo FUNEeeeeeeeee!!! Can I be one of de judges for the "big off"???? Mese lotsa 'sperience (NOT!).
Awwwwww, what a sweet story about how your FIL helped that sweet man, and they became great friends. What a guy!!! You can tell he will NOT be forgotten!!! Yeah, sounds like your DD got that fondness of helping others, from him. What a good trait to have! So sweet to hear about your FIL.
OK, one, two, three, down the hatch!

Yippee, Kathy, of course you can be de judge. wese jest habs to desides when to have de "big off". I cracking up here jest tinking about it. And honestly, I did miss Mr. Big. He was not as shy as Mr. Bigger is in showing off his uh...stuff. hehe.
I sawry you had such a cwazy dey. Stop by de fukkitol dispenser and let's pop a few twogether. I could use one too. Mese fighting de sleep right now and gonna call it a dey berry soonly. I been up for only six hours so might pop a valium to ensure that I fall asleep.
And bdw, I wanna tail you goils that I am feeling a good bit better and tink my body was loving all de sleep I git. Cuz I not feeling too much pain today, did not take pain pills, sorta foygot den realizes dat I do not need dem. I have been taking it berry berry easy today and dat a good ting. One week makes a big difference, I am now nearly 9 days out from soygery. Mese so glad for feeling better. But I won't tail my doctor cuz he make me go to werk, don't wanna go , need to keep healing which means sleeping in ebbery aye em. Cheers goils. Love you all and missing many of mese goils, you know who you are.
Ok, mese staying up for one more dwink and tree more shots of wodka. Maybe Beanie will stop in and say hailo. Dat wood be DE BESTEST. Happy Memorial day and may God Bless those who serve ebberwhere! Cheers!

Hey Goldie-You found out more about the Bud Lime-a-rita than I knew! It was good and i'll have to try another one. But I have to try the Clamato one next. Wahine-hope all turns out well for your dad. Mine is 91 and going in for an MRI to see what's going on w/his eyes and dizziness. And he's always downplaying his issues so we don't worry but I worry more when he doesn't say anything. It all comes back around, they worry when we're kids then we worry about them. Payback I guess, lol. Dork-Sorry to hear about your FIL. As far as the ex goes I say go for it. I've done the 2nd chance thing and it's better to know than to always wonder. Scuby-Good to be back here, miss all you goils when i'm gone. Loved the scuba pics, can't wait to try that myself. I'm sure i'm forgetting more but it's been a long day and there's been some dwinking.
On a totally crazy note DH and I have decided to renew vows for our 15th anniversary in august-in Vegas-in an Elvis type ceremony! Before BC I never would have been interested in that but after anything goes! Oh,I know who i'm forgetting-MEMA-We'll have to get together when i'm there. On that note I have a bottle of zinfandel i'm neglecting, cheers all.0 -

good morning bernie, very true phrase. dork, we had a family friend named don who sounds a lot like your fil, even though he's been gone 28 years if his name comes up in conversation, people stillsmile at the memories they have of him, i think thats the best legacy you can have, you are never forgotten and can still make people smile at mention of your name
unde r,hope we get to see photos of your renewal. kathy its time we had a chat with the xs and the swamp ground is till there! 0 -
Dorothy, although a sad event, it sounds like you had a very nice day. Sorry it involved so many tears. Your stories made me feel like I was there, and that I know your family, really made me feel like a part of it. Did you actually talk about hooking your DH up with your X's GF, and then you and your X getting back to gether, IN FRONT OF your DH????
Chrissy, you and Dorty were naughty naughty last night. Asking Mr. Bigger to show his "naughty parts". Praying for no clots, no clots, no clots.
Kathy, I hope you were able to get rested up and can have a not so stressful day today.
OMG, a "Big Off"?
Shannon, haha....I don't remember what I found out, about the Lime a Rita! I have to say, I did not care for it tho. It was too sweet for me. Hope you were able to find that bottle of zinfandel and give it some attention! My husband and I got married in HI, the same way Elvis did in the movie "Blue Hawaii". Same place (Coco Palms), same canoe, and the guy that played the music was actually in the movie with Elvis. AND, my DH planned the whole thing!!!!
Awwww, hi Sweet Bernie. It is good to see you. Time will help heal. Lots of hearts here for you.
Julie, such a nice thing to say about your friend Don. I wonder what people will say about me when I'm gone?????
Well, I need to put in a few hours of work, then, maybe play in the dirt some.

Morning Breasties! Just spent the last ???? amount of time reading the several pages I missed. DorK, I'm so glad the memorial service went so well. Your FIL sounds like he was an awesome man, and I know he will be missed. So glad he left you all with such Happy memories of him. And your ex DH sounds like a neat guy. Also a good daddy. So nice that the drive never bothers him. And what crazy conversation you had poolside! Where was Steve? lol. Hope you are sleeoing in again today, getting lots of healing rest

Kathy, I hate to hear that about your Dad. And for it to be so painful, that is very scary. Great prayers posted by NM and Lori, just loved those, and know God was listening
Will say prayers myself for you and your family, and also pray that your xBS quits being such a horrid Biatchhh! Hope you are able to find out more from other family members. Can you call the Dr directly? Ask your Dad to put you on the list, then that would be the best way to find out. Love u girl!Chrissy, saying prayers for better news Thursday, praying you can quit taking the meds and that the clot is GONE!!! Love u too, goil (((Chrissy)))
Lori, I actually wrote down the recipe for the Coconut/Basil Gimlet. I Love all the ingredients, yum! Thank u
Bernie, welcome back! Hope your heart is healing up best it can, been praying for you. (((Bernie)))
Undy, great to see u, chica. Cool on the vow renewal. Silly me, I didn't realize u were married! Renewing in Vegas would be cool. Will you go to the chapel where the Elvis look-alike marries u? And hopefully u can meet Pwoud Mary while you're there!

Cyndielou, Juliet, NM, Scuby, who else am I missing? You are all in my fart, OK?
Been a party weekend here in KY. Dorkaroonie, mese gonna hab ta send Stella home today. We had a graduation party to go to Sat, 1-4, and that was fun, but Stella was bored, cause they only had wine, no wadka. So we left there, and then went to visit my MIL in the hospital. She had a hernia sewgewy on Fried Day. She is doing great, coming home today. Stella spwinled sum a her healing Fairy dust on her, so she will be jes fine. Den, we dropped off Aubrey for a sleepover, and went to a deck party at a good friends house. It was catered, awesome food and drinks were flowing. Plus a GREAT band in the driveway. We partied like rockstars. Stella left with the drummer, but she assured me she knew how to find mese house. So, sure nuf, she was here yesterday morning, so we got all bixed up, got Aubrey and my friend Lisa and her 21 month old Grandson, and took our boat out to the river for the first time this season. Spent the whole day, it was awesome! Stella got a sunburn, I kept tewwing her to put on da sunscreen, but she is soooo hawd headed! Dat goil! So, anyway, De house is a mess, and I am working here all week, so have to clean and do laundry today, so soon as Stella heard dis, she sayed she is going home! I dont blame her, wish I could leave this mess! So, Ciao Fo Now!
TitZ Up!!

Good morning, Loungettes! I had a relatively calm weekend, thank heavens. Holiday weekends can be horrific, I'm grateful that this one wasn't. Saturday was hot and humid and not comfortable to be driving around, but yesterday was gorgeous. Now I'm hoping the yard will dry off today so I can mow the yard. I'm already thinking about landscaping around the fence, that's going to be fun!

Happy Memorial Day, and THANK YOU to all who have served, past and present.
DorKable--are you on good drugs or just out of your mind??
Do we need to find you a personal secretary to keep you on track? Or are you just having a wicked good time in the lounge this weekend?? I'm ready to join you! Juliet--YES! I'm going to adopt that statement! It explains a lot!

Wahine--I just skimmed the posts over the weekend, didn't see that your Dad is in the hospital. I'm so upset for you, I can't imagine how you are feeling. To be so far away when something is happening to a parent must be torture. I hope you can find someone in HI that you can trust to keep you up to date.

Good Morning, LORD, it's me again. I talked to you about Wahine's Dad the other day, remember? OK, silly question, of course YOU remember. Well, it seems like things may be worse that I thought, since he is in the hospital. Please, will YOU be kind to him, to Wahine's Mom, and to Wahine while this is playing out? Wahine, in particular, is having a hard time being so far away from her parents while her Dad is struggling with this. I know YOU can make this easier for everyone involved, and I'm asking YOU to do that now. Make a way for Wahine to stay up to date on her Dad's condition and treatment. Make the treatment easy and successful. Keep Wahine's Dad free from pain, and her Mom free from worry. I'd really appreciate YOUR attention to them right now. Thanks, LORD.

Cindielou (we need to find you a good lounge name)--it takes a while to get to know all the abbreviations used here on the boards, especially when there are abbreviations used only in certain threads. When you run across one just ask, the next one of us on (who knows) will give you the translation. We do that all the time with new loungettes coming on all the time.

Wahine--that info about dental x-rays could be really good. I mean, how often do we get to do one test and get screened for more than one condition? The more we can do that way the less we get exposed to radiation, chemicals, etc, and the more we lessen the risks associated with that. Not to mention giving another reason to get regular dental care. . .

Godlie--the very thought of ANY kind of surgery makes me cringe and want to run away! Good Lord, but I hope I never have to have surgery again, and I will HAVE to have it before I agree to it!
Cyndielou--LMAO!!!!!!! And yes, you got DILLIGAF!!!!!! Good for you!!

Juliet--now I know why I seem to be happiest when I'm on the computer. . .

Wahine--Holy Cow, what a relief, and what a pain in the anatomy to go through all that! You really need to set up a reliable information source in HI so you know you're getting the right info the first time.

Good morning, again, LORD. It's me again. I see YOU have already been working on the situation with Wahine's Dad, and I want to say Thank YOU.

Morning, DorKable--I'm trying to make time for myself on the weekends, usually just a few minutes to read through the HTL posts, even if I don't actually post anything, but I can't see a request like that and not respond! Still working on getting into a job where I have weekends off. Didn't get the teaching job at the local university, but I have 2 more leads to follow up on this week. And the weekend was non-eventful, thank goodness, thank you! I'm glad the service was beautiful, that means a lot to the survivors. I'm glad your DD got to spend time with her cousins. I have very special relationships with my cousins, and I know how much that can mean to a gal. Her daddy is a good guy indeed to do all that driving around. Sounds like you and ex-DH had quite the conversation. Did ex-DH say why you said you didn't want to get back together? Just asking because there may have been a good reason, but then it may have been a "heat of the moment" comment. If the former, you'd be wise to think long and hard about that and make sure it was changed before getting back together, if the latter, then maybe you should just see where things go. I can imagine you had lots to think about and didn't sleep!

Chrissy--how frustrating! I'm praying the clot is gone and you can be done with the coumadin!

Good morning, again again, LORD, it's me again. Can I ask for one more favor from YOU? ChrissyB's had that clot long enough, I'm sure she's learned whatever lesson YOU are teaching her with this, so can YOU make it go away by Thursday, her time? I'd really appreciate that. Thank YOU!
Undy--an Elvis-style renewal of vows--how wonderful! Sounds like such fun! Make sure you find one of the chapels that streams ceremonies and let us all know the date/time so we can all celebrate with you, at least virtually!Bernie--good to see you back! Perfect sentiment for the day, too!

Oh wow Alli, what a fun filled weekend you have had! As for Stella, you told her! Put sunscreen on, and she didn't, so she will have to suffer. Tanks foy bumping me into the pool, t'is always so refreshing and wakes me up!!!!

Great post, as always NM. A fence line is a great place for a vegetable garden too. Me thinks you got bumped into the pool too. Good luck this week on your job hunt girl. The right one will come along, I just know it. Well, not really a hunt, since you already have the leads. But you know what I mean.

Morning DahhlinKs!
Jes a quick pop in...hafta get out and walk. Will ans each when I get back. Jes wanted to say (((DorKa)))..Chrissy, be praying the clot is gone. NM and Goldie BOTH beautiful prayers. Undy - that wud b great. Me n my DH also plannin a renewal ceremony in my DD backyard by the pewl. It will be Oct of 2013 and our 20th.

Goldie--yes I know what you mean, and I thank for the kind thoughts. God will put me where I'm supposed to be, when I'm supposed to be there. And, ahhh, the pool water feels soooo good after the muggy Sat and rather muggy start this am.
I jsut put up a Magic Mesh across the kitchen deck door, it really was easy and it took Sadie a grand total of 20 seconds to figure it out! It is a bit flimsy, but now that I know how it works I can get the stuff to make another one for next summer, one that will be sturdier, and I did buy a second one just in case. I got them at a local Family Dollar and saved the shipping charges. Am I frugal or what????
Here's to no more mosquitos in the house! (Or at least a lot fewer.)

Mahvelous MonKeyDey Mornin to Magnificient Moxie Girlzzzzzzzz,
NM, Wow another awesome prayer for my Dad, and then an awesome one for Chrissy too.....you are sooooooooooo specual to do dat foah wese!!!! Glad your weekend was un-eventful, wish I could say the same! After sending two very nice, polite emails to the X-BS, I never got a response, not one. BUT emailed my dad's step-son and they called me from HI as soon as they got my msg. My dad took them all out to b'fast, so he knew what was going on, and filled me in! Sounds like one of the step-sons will take my dad to the dr/hospital on Tues...don't know why the X-BS can't get off her big arse and take him herself. She just wants to take, take, take, and NEVER helps them, even though they are in their 90's, she still expects them to do things for HER. AaarrrgggghhhhH! But so much fun with reading your post, and all the funneees too. Esp love the "Holy the Cow", and also that you thought about having Unde see if the chapel streams the service so we all could "be there". Awesome idea. I think Cyndie has a nickname already, thanks to Mema (Pwowd Mary)..I think it was Mema that came up with it.....it is CynCyn! What fun planning your fence plantings. We have tall trees around the inside of our fence, thanks to my mom, leyland cypress', tall crepe myrtles, and in the back a huge (prolly 90' tall) weeping willow and tall magnolia, which are behind our garden shed, where the ground goes down some....they are soooo tall! And some neighbors have VERY tall trees against our fence too, so can't really plant much there cuz of the shade. Used to have a lot of hosta there, which I love, but didn't get enough water. We have a HUGE yard, and DH hates to run the underground sprinkler system as our water bill here is immense. It was cheaper in Huntsville, than in Madison. My parents house is in Hsv, ours is in Mad, same subdivision! But they are lucky there, as their entire "neighborhood" has underground sprinklers which use the lake water! So at least their yard and plants, trees, are taken care of. PLUS there is yard service for everyone there, so it always looks so nice. Whew, didn't mean to write so much! Thanks for your nice posts and prayers, and caring and concern for all of us!!
Unde, how neat....if you do that, I hope you CAN get a chapel that will stream it, so we all can participate from all over the world!!!
Allicat, sooooo glad you posted, I had missed you soooo much! Sounds like a fun, busy time you have had! And I am envious you got out on your boat, that is awesome!!! I've been reading old newspapers to finally get rid of them (I rarely get to read them when they come in), and there was an article about "NuLu"....do you go to that area of L'ville? Sounded neat.
Awww Bernie, that is so true!!!!! Hope you are feeling better, we sure miss you when you are not here!
Juliet, Yes, so nice when loved ones are still remembered. I love running into someone that knew my late DH, they always tell me how much they miss him, esp those that worked under him. And he's been gone almost 20 yrs.
This is weird, and I haven't read it since I lost my DH, but this book sure helped me. It was by Betty J Eadie, "Embraced by the Light"....she had an amazing "near death" experience, and learned so much. It really comforted me. IF I remember correctly, it was something about how some are taken after they do all the good they are supposed to do (I may have that wrong, but that is how I remember it). So my late DH was SO good, always helping everyone, etc., and yeah I felt he had done so much good. Like your FIL, Dotty, and your loved one, Juliet. I know I do not do half the good my late DH did. Anyway, I meant to tell you about that book, Bernie, but forgot. I should re-read it, it was very moving.
Love the DOTD's today, Lori's "Sweet Memories", and NM's "In Remembrance" (love the ML chaser!). BTW, Dorkie, when is the "Big Off" gonna be???? And who else is going to be as judge besides me? Prolly ALL of us, LOL!
HUgssssssss to all you wunnerful goils!!!!
Kathy

Morning goils!
I am up early today in Dorktime. hehe. I do not see the aye ems too much these days. It is a lovely day here but heating up fast. And we can all wear our white pants starting today, right Alli? (she is our lounge fashion police) lol.
A special shout out to our KatyKins. Thank you for your service to our wonderful USA. And thanks to all our the military who have served or are serving. I appreciate the sacrifice. We are one country and we are united. God Bless America and God Bless you Kathy! Now to set the date for the "big off". I still laugh when I write that. Not sure how I came up with that one but it is funnneee if I don't say so myself.
How nice to see Bernie pop back in, missed ya goil and loved your post. AMEN. I hope your heart is healing. (and your fart too hehe). Really missed you. Love you berry muchly.
NM, I may have to check our local Family Dollar store for those screen things. I would imagine that my little woofers would rip them up in no time but worth a shot, thanks for posting that. (I am a closet Family Dollar shopper). The store near here seems to bring in alot of people via bus from Camden NJ which is the highest crime area per sq mile in the entire state so I only go there in the day light. LOVED your prayers. You have a great talent and a close relationship to our God. I hope he hears and acts on each and every one of your prayers. You are just awesome, great and fantastic and I always enjoy your posts tremendously.
Kathy, the book sounds like a great read. I may check it out. I suppose that today is a much better day for you but I have send they tenders to pamper you today. I am so glad that someone other than the biotch ex sister will be taking your Dad to see the doctor and will let you know what is happening. How nice of him to call you upon receipt of your email. That must be very comforting. Hey, I am putting a curse on that wicked wonder biotch....wooosh, pha-zaaaam, wooosh, waapalunga....ooops, I tink she just broke her leg. Hmmm, I asked for more...just hoping. You know waht they say about karma baby. It will get her without my meaningless curse, fo sho.
Alli-luv, loved that you had such a good time. Did you say you went to a catered deck partay? Wow, how ubber fab hehe. You really deserved such a great time. Your DD looks like she is turning into a mini Allie, a wittle fashionista, love how she accesorized. I tink Lori should post de pic of your DD and you and Ray in the boat (from facebook) - I may try it as I know you will not mind. I will have a talk with Stella about following directions. Did you tail her that if she not good she go back to reform school? She badliest, running away with boys all de time. That all goil school will put her in her place. I am really tinking about it. I hope you have another good partay dey!
Unde'!!! Welcome back. You sed you'd come back and here you are. You have to hang with us, you don't wanna miss de "big-off" hehe. How sweet that you are renewing your marriage in Vegas. Sheese, seems our Suz is getting face time with so many goils here. I am envious. I missed my face time with Lisa, she was sick and could not come out to dwink.
Lisa, miss you dear. Hope you are feeling better. Come on in, its a partay and a big off. I tink we do dis tonight? Or not? Who will be in de lounge dis evening?
Beanie, miss you tons girl. Love you too. Hope all is well with you and your DH. I am praying for your heart (fart). Really, sending you lots of love and lots o wodka!
Well I missed some of you but been having such problems with this laptop lately and fear i will lose this. So I am hitting submit and will be right back to pick up where I left off. Cheers!

Wow...did I miss quite the night last night...Just too pooped here but I was there in spirit..my fart was with you as you partied on.
Chrissy....good luck this week..hope all is well and that clot is long gone so you can get back to normal and get off that chit thats causing all the problems..you would have thought there would have been an alternative medication that could have been perscribed to you that wouldnt have caused so much trouble.
Dorty sounds like a very nice service and what a great man...very much a humanitarian. How lucky you are to have known him and it sounds like his son was as nice a person as he was..hard not to love them. Im sure you will do what is right for you and you are right about not knowing what the future may bring...ya can nevah say nevah evah.
Allie had a lot going on this weekend...sounds like a blast girl!!! I think I will just live vicariously through you.
NM...what are you going to grow in your garden? The garden may be a great way to tell where the fence is. Hope to hear good things about your other prospects....do you get paid the same on weekends as you do on weekdays? Thats why I work the weekends..15% differential and I like having days off durring the week to do things ..apointments and such. I have to say your prayers are lovely and you can tell hear felt .
Lori.....sounds like your DH put a lot of thought and work into your weddiing..sounds really neat. As always, the DOTD looks refreshing ....I can have one but I must been in controll and only endulge in my brewskies or face a nasty headache.
Its great to see Bernie again....mebee now that Im getting to know my way around a bit better when you have a chance Bernie we can get to know eachother better so I'll save the seat next to me for ya.
Kathy hun...how are you doing today?? Im sure your still feeliing releif about your dad...now..who is the person that gave you the misinformation?? I think we should consider the swamp land Juliet offered up..sounds like just the situation for swampland usage.
Oh..Dorty..I wanted to mention about your ex-DH g/f coming up with an excuse not to attend the services....ughh....seriously?? I hope he is going to dump her a$$....Im sure there is also room in da swampland at Juliet's for 2. I may actually be able to come up with a few more if there is still room.
Scooby doobie doo..where are you? I did some more research into dive classes and the first class..open water is 299 ..the second class ..advanced is 399...have you ever dived here? Very well known for fossilized sharks teeth..you can find them scattered on the beach..small ones but hey have found some really big ones further out.
Today is my middle DS..(DS2)'s birthday..19yo..he is the one coming out here to live on Friday from Massachusetts...I got a call from his father..who told me "he cannot come down there to live"...he is afraid that DS1 will be a bad influence on him and they will get into trouble...I told him that I will not tell him he cant live here and that it has to be his choice....In the meantime my whole right side of my upper torso is screaming burnt pain...Im using that silvadene and doing the salt soaks as much as possible...this cant be over soon enough for me...and if you ask me what im going to do when it is..well girls .."Im going to Disney World"...really...lol..planning on taking all 3 of them over at the end of June...Im on vaca for 9 days...then Im back for a week before the surgical rigamarole starts....fun times ahead my breasties...

I do get paid a bit more working weekends, but it's having to be in the office for meetings 2 and sometimes 3 days during the week that's starting to really bother me. Some weeks I don't have a single 24 hour period of time that I don't have to spend some of it in the office.
Still working on planning the garden details. I'd love to have some perennials along the fence line, especially things that will grow up and block the view from the road into the yard. If Sadie can't see the neighbors' comings and goings maybe she won't bark at them so much!

Thanks for postin the pic, DorK! I tried to post a few more, but too many puter problems today. Should have seen what I went through just to get a smiley face to pop up!
Thanks for the compliments on my DD. She is growing up fast. My Friend brought her 21 month old Grandson with her, and I was kissing and lovin on him all day. Aubrey told me later it hurt her feelings, that I might love him more?!?! God love her lil heart, I just assured her she would always be her Mama's baby, no matter what age. Also told her that the sweetest thing about babies is they don't talk back or push you away, you just get to Love em, lol. She is a sweet girl, I am one lucky mama.
Kathy, not sure what NuLu is, will look it up.
Dorothy, here in Ky it is OK to wear white pants after Derby Day. Some say after Easter Sunday depending on the weather. I say, wear WTF you want, whenever, and wear your DILLIGAF face also.
CynCyn, PM DorK or Lori for Stella info, they are faster typers, K? Takes me FOREVER to type a paragraph. I need lessons! And hope those burns get better with the cream.
Mema, hate it when I get too busy to check in. Will try and be better.
OK, gotsta get ready for company. Entertaining the friends of ours who own the Gulf Shores condo. Ciao fo Now

Hello sweet loungettes,
I did not make it too long out in the heat today. I felt terrible going inside while my friends were here but Jess said she would step in and host them. It was too much for me at over 90 degrees and not being able to submerge in the pool and I was afraid of getting sunburnt too. The walk down the shallow end of the pool was just a tease and I needed air conditioning!
Katwinka, tanks for tailing our Cyndie about de Stella. I tink Cyn would be a great hostess. And uh, I tink that she may help Stella get over her boy craze. I mean that girl can't stay out of de bed with de boys lol.
I will fill you in a bit more about de Stella since Katwinka got it started. Gads, I did not know where to start. I used to refer to a goil named Stella as my fwend when I was saying something here that could jeopardize my job. Yes, that was the beginning. Ya know how you ask a question of someone but say a "friend" wants to know but this friend is you? Well Stella was my imaginary friend. I used to talk about work, that was before I edited my first name to drop the 2nd O in Dorothy and feared that coworkers could find me. It was actually the coworker of mine that I had become close to as she was diagnosed before me and she is the one that took me by the hand over de bridge to PA to introduce me to my new PS. She never liked teh work of my former PS and could not believe how much he and the BS mangled my sad body. Incidently, this friend, Cindy, passed away in October from the RB. I was not hiding from her to be mean, I just wanted my business to stay personal and since she also came on the boards here, I did not want her to easily find me. But I think it was Lori who first brought Stella to life. It was a riot the day she popped on here, I will never forget that day. Since then, she has been to Vegas with Lori, now to the lake with Alli and also bisited Alli to hailp her babysit. She can be good when she has to. Karen had invited her to help clean during spring break but she refused to do work, the lazy lil biotch! I think it was Suzie who made a picture of her and brought her to the Koman race. we have a lot of fun with her compliments of Lori, her great imagination and mine combined.
She is a like a daughter to me but acts out quite a bit so she spend some time at an all goils reform school.
So would you like to host her? I think she would love coming your way. Please say yes, she is already home with me and woke me up from my lil nap todey and asked if she can go back and play with Aubrey.
You asked....
Cheers and again, wishing you all a happy rest of de holiday and to Chrissy B, a happy Twosdey morning! Love you girls.

Here is the post I found, going back to July 2011 where I start talking about Stella. who'd have thought my friend would come to life. It was bitter sweet reading back as this was the time that our Junie was still with us here on Earth but was not doing well. RIP Junie. I love you and miss you.(and now you will see why Stella spends so much time "shaking" her pedometer. hehe. here is my post:
Hiya gals,
Sorry to go off subject but this is Junie approved. I am not sure if you remember my friend Stella, but she works for this mortgage company who was recently featured on the national news. My friend is beside herself over this report as it portrays her employer as being so caring when it comes to their employees health. The thing is, this newscast blatantly excludes the fact that my company changed their health care covergage plan under Aetna, A++ to a plan that is under CIGNA what I would rate as D-. I believe will will have to pay out of pocket a minimum of $50k for my visit to the hospital. This makes me soooo angry!! If any of my breast friends would like to send letters to the The Morning Show to tell them what is REALLY going on, let me know and I will write it and pay for it but not under my name. Gosh, I need a drink. It is nearly 1:30am and I am revved up. Here is the link. I would be proud to show where I work if not for the insurance thing. The company motto should be "we care about you as long as you are well" F them!
Again, this link is from my friend's employer and my friends name is Stella.
Anyone want to drink??
