Unique is very true..not weird..what is weird to one is normal to another and who is the judge? I had to laugh at all the things kids say. They are so honest and I remember a lot of embarassing moments when mine were little and some of the things they said and did.
Another rainy evening here...its comforting tho...I think I may be traumatized from living in Phoneix for 3 years without much rain at all.

Bernie, had myself an Irish Rubin for lunch today at an Irish resturant thats very popular here with the tourists called TJ Carney's ...I took my parents ...they loved it...love some Irish food myself. Does it get very cold for you in the winter? That wood burning oven makes your cottage just that much more charming to me.

I jest got so irriated with mese blender. Was trying to make my widdle goil a voygin daqueri and mese blender would not werk. But mese never used it before. My friend Ann always made de daqueris. So mese take out mese frustraion with a hammer and got er done. Shirley would have been better had I gotten de blender to work. I downloaded de manual and do tink I doing someting wrong but mese jest dumb. I will ask mese friend tomorree cuz she werk at de casino and is werking now. I tried so hard to figgure it out. Someting about lining up de tabs on de bottom and I tink I have it right. Blenders SUCK! Mese need blender for dummies hehehe!

Jumpin in for a a quickie--drink, that is, before work. Gonna be a light weekend, have Sunday off, sort of. No visits to make but will have the beeper. At least I'll get to go to church. Glad to hear Lori's trip is going well, and that Jessica is feeling better, and to see Beanie back and to laugh at Bernie's jokes, and to see everyone else in the lounge! Sue, how old is your GD..she is adoreable..mine is going to be 5 in August but I dont get to see her very much at all...I saw her shortly after her birth and then for a couple of months this past winter but her mom didnt like FL much..and DS1 and her dont get along ..so that move was short lived..I dont know when I will see her again. Enjoy your time with her.

Morning DahhhlinKs - Cyn she is 3 (April). Very smart, sometimes too much for her own good...hahaha. Glad you woke to sunshine today...it's gonna b a bright bright bright sunshiney day...o never mind don't want dat song stuck in my head all day. I'm sad you don't get to see your gd as often as you'd like. I don't kno what we'd do without being able to see ours. They grow sooo fast and poof...they don't have any interest in Mema n Papa anymore. LOL. My gs (Andrew, 6yoa) will be here on Monday. So will have both for 3 nights. Ingredients
- 10 raspberries
- Juice of 1 lime
- ½ oz simple syrup
- ½ oz Campari
- 1 oz reposado tequila
- Blood orange soda
Instructions
Muddle the raspberries with the lime juice and simple syrup at the bottom of a collins glass. Add Campari and tequila, then stir. Top with ice, then add blood orange soda.

I really wish i had napped earlier in the day as I was dead tired by dinner time. The sun beats the crap out of me. I've had a hard time tolerating it post BC. It was a delightful day, high in the 80's and very low humidity and i had a nice time despite wanting to nod out. DH ended up coming over with his two DD's but I kept them out of the house except for potty runs and also made them hand sanitize a million times.
I am off to bed. I hope one of the bigs will carry me!

Happy Sunny day to you NM!! I love the rain..Im glad we have had some here and there..sounds like you have had your share and some of our share also. Although, we have had enough rain to have me finally break down and have someone mow my lawn..I dont have much for grass..its kind of patchy but the weeds that were growing were out of controll..I dont own my house. I rent, and Im not all that thrilled with it and dont plan on staying much longer after my lease is up..just long enough to find what I really want hopefully back on the island, where I was living before making a run for my life and picking the first decent thing that came my way..NM, my laptop came with Norton Anti virus but only a trial for 60 days and it expired yesterday..I bought a year for 3 pc's at Walmart yesterday so I will be covered and DS1 will be covered..... Hope the rest of your day is beepless.

NM, I am so glad you can get to church today. and lol at the church cartoon w/no hymnals. I am sure that will be a reality as books become obsolete.
I was up before 7am and had just gotten on the internet when everything stopped working. I thought my phone and internet where down until I went to use the toaster and discovered my power was out. I took a shower with minimal light, had to open the blind in my bathroom to see what I was doing. I am glad that it was out less than two hours. I was getting scared that it would get hot and I would have no ice for dwinks. And no AC. And no contact with mese goils. I could not even hack into a neighbor's connection, I guess they were all without power too. Sometimes I foyget to appreciate having power but not now, no no no.
Who's embiding on dis sundey fundey? I am thirsty! And hungry too. Tenders, can you please bring some drinks and whip up a sundey breakfast buffet?

Mornin Chica's! Hope everyone has a Happy SUNday Funday planned! Took Aubrey to the pool for a few hours yesterday, it was beautiful out here, same weather as u dorkie poo. Supposed to be another beautiful day today as well, so we are taking our boat out on the River. Aubrey loves to tube, so think we will break out our tube first time this season.
