    Hello girls,

Just reporting in to let you all know I have been hibernating. I called my doctor and he called in a few rx's and said if I do not feel much better by monday to come into the office.  Something must be working because I crashed out after taking my first dose and did not wake up coughing! Drink some for me goils, I am having hot tea.

Thank NM and Cam for the suggestions, I am taking your advise.

Hi Lara, Unde and Lori. I hope you are all having a great weekend. Come on in and party. And please, keep it on the lowdown that I am not dwinking on a saturdey night, can't ruin my rep!  Cheers!

LOL NM @ getting absolutely nothing done and feeling good for accomplishing that!

Nice contributions there Shan! How are your fills going? When will you be done?

DorK, I will be happy to drink for you, but I thought it was “the downlow” not “the lowdown”….lol. Glad you are feeling better.

Cami, NM…………..you can see Cyn’s post on Facebook as to what happened.

Here’s a fresh idea for a hot Sunday afternoon.

Juice of 2 freshly squeezed oranges 2 shots Campari 1 bottle Prosecco

Fill up the pitcher with ice. Add the freshly squeezed orange juice, 2 shots Campari and fill up the rest with Prosecco. Stir it up and serve it with ice.

    Cheers!

Good morning, Loungettes!  Brisk, sunny start to a s short work week for me, not sure what I'm going to do with a 4 day weekend!   I'm sure I'll figure out something, though.

Undy--ooohhh, I like your party favor!

DorKable--you were drinking on a Saturday night, we just won't spread it around that you were drinking cough syrup!  Glad you're feeling better.

Cammy--I like your little corner spot!  Can I pick out one and can my Sadie come in with me????

Goldie--Yummy sounding dwinky!  Thanks for sharing.

    The Wonder of it all:

    1. IF the sport of choice for the urban poor is BASKETBALL.

    2. IF the sport of choice for maintenance level employees is BOWLING.

    3. IF the sport of choice for front-line workers is FOOTBALL.

    4. IF the sport of choice for supervisors is BASEBALL.

    5. IF the sport of choice for middle management is TENNIS .

    6. IF the sport of choice for corporate executives and officers is GOLF.

    THEN THIS AMAZING CONCLUSION:

The higher you go in the corporate structure, the smaller your balls become.
Therefore, one might conclude, there must be a ton of people in Washington playing marbles.

    Good morning goils!

BBBB, your joke holds so much truth. And I do prefer buying from the old mom n dad shops versus giving my money to large corporations. How have you been my funny lady?

Lori, I tink your DOTD is doctor dorKy approved, slug slug slug, yippee, vitamins!

Cami, sorry to worry you. You have enough to worry about without adding little old mese.  I tail ya, I was so close to buying depends. I looked at them while out shopping and said NOPE, too pricey. Well i was really looking at Poise pads, not quite ready for depends or at least was not at that time. Then I end of buying maxi pads at the casino along with cough drops, guess what I spent? 19.00 for 8 pads and a bag of 12 cough drops, ouch. I spend less gambling lol.

Hello Unde' and Lara. Did I miss anybuddy? Mese not tinking too clearly, mese head is in de fog. Dis damn virus is taking a toll on me mind.

I tail ye goils, I do not get sick often but when I do, I really do. I am a huffing and a puffing (reminds me of Chrissy B running for dwinks). De good news is that I slept through the night and kept dry. I am not used to wearing big n bulky pads. I was pushed in to menopause back in oct 2010 and forgot how nice it is not wearing that junk in my panties lol.

So what is going on today, where is eberyboddy? Camille, you gonna keep me company? I has nothing to do. My house needs a lot of cleaning, I have been slacking since i took it off the market. But I haven't the energy. Let's partay! Oh, my DH says that I can not go a day without dwinking. Well I proved him wrong, I missed two days this month lol. One the night before surgery then again last night. take that, boy! ha!

I love you girls! Party on!

oops, how could I miss our dear NM? Good morning love. Four days off, wooo hoo, you deserve it! I have a four day weekend too but not as well deserved as you for the obvious reasons. I will need it though. I am so dreading getting up on wednesday but it will be good to get the foot in the door. I have been having crazy work dreams again!  You have a good day!

Lori who took my picture, I see u moved the table for that. LOL

Bernie as always LOL and small businessess should be favored for Christmas especially--I always preferred knowing the people.

Good for u NM--relax (my specialty)

Dork u'd better get well soon u have to go to work on Wed.. I' still have dreams about work--nightmares--3 of my best friends still work there and so I know everuthing that's going on and it's awful the Election always puts pressure on (where I worked) everyone, so it's so political that's why I hate politics so much. that's why I never say much about it cuz I've been on the other side of it and it stinks. Oh I'm ranting about such a stupid thing. LOL But my friends are stil involved that's why.

Anyway Dork I'm glad u go back on wed. and u have a long week-end--like was said getting u'r feet wet then u can take the plunge, I hope u'r up to it. Make sure u are. Oh Our Dorky is going out into the world again. YYYAAAYYY.

yipee, Cammy is partaying with me. Don't tail but mese jest made a widdle teeny tiny dwinky! It is my reward for getting in the shower, it was not easy but I feel better. I chose not to dwink my cough syrup cuz it knocks me out and I slept most of the dey yesterday and all of last night. I will take it when I go to bed tonight. Or this afternoon. For now, I am partaying. I used diet sprite cuz dat is good for sick right? and I ate! yay. and Camille, the beauty of the lounge is that you can say what you want, if people don't like it, they can leave. and I find your posts humorous/interesting. you are a far cry from the boring chick you claim to be! let's party. I see Pants over there, oh he is heading toward you on de floor, he is mine ya know! well I will share. I can take Wahine's Mr. Big cuz she ain't here....cheers!

Dorkie feeling any better yet? Good thing yer able to sleep lots and lots even tho yer missing this amazing view.

Cami, you always make my days/nights with all yer up attitude even when things go to crapland.

Orange - where in Az do you live? I lived many years in Pinetop/Lakeside but now in Tucson (obviously from my profile. Duh to me )

Spending my last couple days in Santa Barbara with DD and yipee the rain is gone so that beach is looking mighty fine. Then back to Phoenix to help mom thru cataract surgery.

Sure am missing tbe furbabies and maybe Mr. E. just a little. Heh heh

Happy travels to all you travellers!

You comin Dork? Lets party down here on de floor! Cami, I can't tell who took your picture, I promised. But I will say it was of the male species.

Lynda, I'm in AZ, not Orange. We live off the grid, our mailing is Concho though. Not too far from Pinetop/Lakeside. We do our shopping once a week in Show Low. What took you to Tucson?

How far away from Lori are you? Or Lori, how far away from Lynda? I know AZ is a big dern place, especially compared to lil NJ!

Goldie - sorry for the mix-up w/ you and Orange. My good artsy friend lived and taught in St. John's for many years. Bet you guys shop the (ick) Walmart and since we left, Home Depot and Lowes. Our house was just up the street from the new Walmart where the elk used to migrate. We lived close to Show Low Lake. Beautiful country but never felt very welcome there as we were the "weird art people". Had some good drs. there during my first RB dx, great surgeon, plastic surgeon who did a beautiful job on my TRAM reconstruction, and onc. too who came in from Flagstaff. Has anything moved into the old Walmart? We lived up there nearly 20 years and after DD finished high school, decided we needed to leave the isolation and provencialism and returned to Tucson. Sure hate the summer heat and wished we could've kept 2 houses for that summer/winter thing. Probably a good thing we didn't though as DH passed 2 years ago which would've left me stuck dealing w/ 2 homes during my stage 4 dx.

Yes, that lil mall is full. Can't think what is in that part of it though. But yes, unfortunatley we have to shop at Wal Mart. I hit Safeway for my veggies. Been here 11 years, takes us an hour to get to Show Low. I certainly wouldn't let someone run me off just cuz THEY thought I was wierd. We live out here all by our lonesomes, no one to bother us on 80 acres. How old is your DD, what school? My son in law went to school out there.

Cami - what a beauty you are down there on the floor but think you need a pillow or 4!. oh, and open yer eyes for the view and we'll place yer dwink there next to you with yer own bendy straw. Just watch out for all those feet. I have an idea! Let's make a big punch bowl of someding strong, get down there with Cami and share it, each with our own bendy straw! All we gotta do is turn our heads and suck! (and i don't mean the tenders either). We each get our own tender to blot our drppy mouths in between rubbing our feet. Wow, all that on a Sunday morning is gonna send me back to bed by noon.

Yes, us AZ goils should meet up sometime! Wouldn't a trip to Vegas be a hoot?

DD is 27 and working on her PhD in Art and Architecture. Her job prospects look dim but since she was able to score all her grants/fellowships on her own, this mama doesn't comment on her choice of study. Poor girl just had a nasty breakup w/her bf of 5 years and is starting to move forward. I was really worried about her those first coupla months after they split.

80 acres. Goldie - wow! Horses? I hear of people finding wonderful fossils and pottery sherds up your way.

Before we all hit da floor, gonna make a bite to eat. Then it's. . .

    Bottoms up. Watch the straws!

Son in law a good 10 years older than her. Glad she is doing better with the break up. No horses, no animals of any kind. I found only one small piece of pottery, lots of arrow heads and petrified wood.

Hi guys, Oh and u girls too---I look great on that floor, I never looked better-tht will be my new home--I look so happy---anyone notice where my arm is.??? I needed a nap too. I got tuckered out.

My oldest brother lived in Scottsdale AX and when I went to visit him all I can member is it was so hot u could barely go out . It was horrible, kind of like this last summer. And I couldn't imagine how people lived there.  So when Lori said she had snow I was shocked--I didn;t know anything about snow in AZ. ever LOLSo I really didn't have any fun/ But Lori u sound like u live in a perfect place. All the land for privacy.

I do hope Dork is resting, she needs to.

Boy everyone is out of town.  Wait a minute if u (Dork) are on antibiotics, don't drink they won't work-well that's what I was told years ago, maybe it's not true any more--Ok a little maybe. But u get u'r ass to the dr. tom. if u'r not doing well. nuff said

Well it's scary movie day and my DD is watching that Pinhead movie--she's another scary movie type. so is my grandson. I wish I had a bag of veggie chips I really like those. So I will be back.

Dork is napping, I chatted with her earlier. She is not taking anti-b's, so she is ok to dwink. Down near Phoenix, Tuscon and Scottsdale, it IS VERY HOT there in the summer Cami. I couldn't  live there either. Altho nice in the winter!!! It is much cooler up here in the mountains.

And BTW, where is that other arm/hand of yours. You naughty goil you!
