Cami - big tears cuz of the stoopid big D! I sure can relate though. Was out walking my dogs about 2 blocks from home in my beige shorts when it hit me once badliest!!!! Found out later (thru my own trial and error) that the Navelbine I was on at the time had made me lactose intolerant. Blech, I love a big tall glass of cold milk too. Where are yer mets? Mine are in bones and of all weird places, stomach. But that's lobular RB.

Camille, I am close with my sisters, they are both super awesome. And while I hate the place I work, I love what I do and I have also gained some very dear friends. I also have a few good friends from my prior job. At de old job, I used to clown around a lot. I had time where I do not have much time for fun at my current job. One of de tings I used to do to crack people up (and my darnself too) is "design" my panty hose. If I had a runner and dey were shot, I would get mese scissors out and have fun. I used to cut widdle holes in mese panty hose and tail people dat I had a mouse under mese desk and look what dey did hehehe. Den I would sometimes cut the hose off jest below the knee or jest cut out the knees and look so funnee. I would do dis at de end of the day den jest chuck dem in the trashcan and go home with no panty hose. I am famous for dat! my point is like you, I like to have a widdle fun in de workplace, it makes de deys easier. I am glad you have these friends by your side, we all need fwends. But dese fwends of mine are no funliest like ye goils, dey are not dwunks.

Good morning, again, Loungettes. Yesterday ayem's posting got interrupted by work. One of my patients (finally and thank the good Lord above) died and his wife and the nursing home staff needed support, so I started my day early. What that man went through because of not having discussed his wishes and because his wife is totally self -centered should be against the law. I had a headache all day yesterday from trying to come to terms with what happened and my role in it. However, I feel better after a good night's sleep, and am going to talk with our Chaplain later and get this worked out before Turkey Day.
Apparently there is a Hostess bakery here in Maine. The news is saying how the state rapid response team mobilized to help the people losing their jobs. They interviewed one worker who was pretty miffed that the union couldn't agree to give back a little bit in this economy, so now he has no job at all. Pretty sad thing to hear, especially right before the holidays.
DorKable--naps are good things, especially when you are sick. Glad you're feeling better!
Cammy--sounds like your Mike is a great addition to the lounge stock! What is going on with your bowels, anyway? Time to get that under control!
BBBBernie--Thanks for the info, so interesting! And sometimes I wish I had someone to change positions with. Would love to have someone cook dinner for me once in a while.

And since she knows what things we like it's all that stuff. They're all so great.

I know how passionate you are with what you do. Sadly, it sounds like you need a debriefing yerself. I will say prayers that you get past this one, seems you are taking it hard. I hope the family of the man appreciated all you did for them and I hope you have a good talk with your Chaplain. God bless you for what you do, it has to be so difficult at times like these. I am so thankful that my sister's home was unscathed. It will be nice having mom and dad with us this year. I imagine all of the guys will help getting my mom up the stairs as her home is raised, the garage is on the first level and the living area is on a 2nd level.

i don't know what made me check my work email tonight but i am shirley glad I did. otherwise I would have shown up at work dressed while ebbery buddy else in jeans, omg. finding dress clothes is easy for me while a jean outfit, not so easy. i had a bra on for 20 minutes and omg, it was hurting mese right foob. i did find an outfit to wear and wear de bra but suspect it will be off by noon or so. baby steps!

oh I have been a bad girl being away for the last few days better take a shot of tequilla for my punishment lo. Actually I was away in Calgary for another weekend of the seminar I am taking. This weekend we focused on Colours, have any of you had your colours done? Very interesting stuff I have to say, I am blue/green which has helped explain alot to me as I am emotional/logical....hence all the confusion in my brain at times lol. I am looking to heading back into school next semester, I want to be a life coach
