NM, I think when we said "mix" we meant mix eggnog and likker ourselves, not an actual eggnog mix. Although I HAVE gotten that before, just thinking of less calories, and no raw eggs. But like you said, it is all prolly safe now, has to be, unless its homemade with raw eggs.
Yeah Cami, Banana peel to whiten teeth? 'Splain, girl, 'splain dat one. I am guessing it is the INSIDE of the banana peel? I don't think we could get the outside clean enuf for me to want to rub it in my mouth. But, the BIG question on our minds is...DID IT WORK??? I used to eat a lot of lemons, and asked the dentist once, about that, but he said its fine. Well, that was in the dark ages, and I now reailze that is what took off most of my enamel. I had the dr whiten my teeth, but it didn't look good, cuz the lack of enuf enamel left it streaky. I even bought the kit from my dentist, with the custom fit tray, etc, but that didn't look god either. OH, now 'splain dis to me too, are the sticky keys on a laptop or desktop computer? Cuz if on a desktop, you can jest replace the keyboard. Have you tried to use the canned air on it to get out dust? Or clean them with qtips and alcohol? I think the keys pop off, but I am NOT going to try on mine, no siree bob. Have fun at your party!!!

Camille, whateber you do, DO not take off the keys on the computer, I did that before and messed up my laptop. I think it is easier on a "real" keyboard. You can probably get a keyboard from ebay cheaper than it would be for me to mail you an old one I have in my attic! and guess what, I sharted, jest finished cleaning meseself up. Seems that the anti-B put the D on me. Reminds me of a poem that my Dad taught me as a kid:

The younger people will not get this joke, it used to cost a dime at some public restrooms. I was taught to craw under the door cuz wese was poor.
Kathy, I believe that you are entitled to a copy of the HOA's master insurance policy. You should definately get a copy and make sure that they have fidelity bond coverage, that is might want to check it and make sure that they have this coverage. It protects the members of the HOA against theft of HOA funds. It is required by law for HOA's with more than 20 units. If they do not have it, and many get away with violating that law, you need to start stirring the pot of chit. I hope they have likker.
NM, thanks for the info. I will have to check my report to see if they gave me antib's. I sure hope so. I did not even remember them drawing blood, I guess they grabbed it out of my IV when I was dozing off. I want to message you with more questions. I did know it was a skin infection. I can't figure out how it got so far from my incisions.
DD had to go back to her apartment so DH (stbxdh) will come over tomorrow and help me.

I jest got a dwunken phone call from Stella. I tink she sampling one or four of ebery drink at de party. she so little, she can get away with it. OOPS, Thanks Dorkie for advising Cami to NOT remove the keys...I had thought they would pop off, but maybe only on a regular keyboard like you said. And usually they have good sales/rebates at Staples,etc so cheap keyboards can be found. AND thanks for the HOA info! I'll email you about the meeting. Was going to write it here, but then realized that would be B-O-A_R-I-N-G (yuppers added an A, just because!). Hope you can sleep well....

dorty-feel better soon, did you get a bite on the shitty tity, because that can start off cellulitis, as usual, good advice from nm,as your on antibiotics and having diarhea,are you taking a probiotic? don't want you geting cdiff on top of everything else, if your temp is still up,call that doctor and see if the antibiotcs need to be changed, and remember rest and plenty of fluids and no alcohol doesn't count

On the eggnog, I think I’ve only had it once. The name is gross to me, so that’s why I don’t think I drink it. Guess I would go with rum. Never had brandy or bourbon before.

omg...Lori..those are great..love the history of Egg Nog...I didnt drink it for many years because of the name..same thing with Bread pudding..just sounds gross....I still havent eaten Talapia....also because of the name... Egg Nog is wunerful...seriously..for me ..one glass a night is about it...I dont do likker very well and I used Bicardi btw. You never had brandy ??? wow....Love some blackberry brandy..but I think brandy is a cold weather drink because it warms your insides.
I am trying to soak my arm in a warm bath every night because its easier to move and Im trying to excercize it to get some of the range of motion I lost back. It still hurts a lot and I cant bend my thumb very far...I have a hard time twisting my wrist .

Stella was a little handfully last nite--flirting with a man who is married (I've known hime since he was 10) but Stella doesn't know his wife WOW that didn't last long. I told her she had to help--oh she helped herself to alot of Vodka, but the upside is she conked out and still sleeping. No moleboy around here.

Everyone had a great time at the party and loved the way my DD has made our house into ou home with all her ideas and My SIL painting different color wals and new carpeting and whatever else she does--Of course I did eat---and this morning didn't make it to the bathroom, but it happens all the time so I figured it would. I woke up during the nite and felt arms around me--my Joey was with me--and I hear quietly I love u mammaw--that's what he calls me cuz he's said I'm not just his grandma, I'm like his mommy too. Julie, you bet your sweet bippy we will be there with ya tomorrow....verrry teeny tiny and in all the drs pockets, and in any corner we can hide in. Of course we will ea have our libation of choice, also made small, but very potent cuz when likker is condensed we jest take any water out of it and have oh maybe 380 proof! But seriously, will also be praying for good results, and good recovery!

Hoping our Dorkie is doing better today, and taking NM's advice (and everyone else's advice too)! Ya know, I forgot, but I have had cellulitis before...in basic training....during bivouac(sp)...running away from the drill sargent at night (some of us girls were going to use the mens showers and guard the door so no one would come in as we heard they had hot water, and ours was cold), some of you gals will remember this story. BUT then there was a culvert we were running in, and I was first, and didn't see the concrete abutment right in front of me cuz it was so dark. So, long story long (lol), ended up with my shin so swollen, it looked like a shelf coming out from below my knee to my ankle. Drill sgt said it was broken...turned out not to be broken, but was extreme tendonitis and cellulitis, so the army drs said. Had to be on crutches and was supposed to have bed rest. OH YEAH, in basic training? No way. Us "sickies" had to unload the trucks with everyone's duffel bags (we had a huge company, men and women), we had to walk quite a distance to the mess hall, etc. Anyway, who knows if that really was it, but it was extemely painful.
OK, nuff of storytime....been a bizzy day here for us too, but want to drive the dogs to a neat walking trail, and go for a walk before the bad weather hits (storms).

And it is across the street from my PS. I think I will start with making de appt with the IDisease peeps den try to see de PS after that appointment, the PS is a freebie since I am within 90 days of surgery (might be 6 months, mese foyget).
I be back, mese needs to shower cuz mese ass is filthy. I had a butt bath yesTURDey and den washed mese face and mese fancy (dat a werd my mom made up for de box area) but I am a mess and mese hair is beyond disgusting. I should take a pic of mese, I look terrible.

NM, Snow....omg! We had rain storms last night, and dropping temps today. But this is one reason why I only go out in the rain when absolutely necessary...there is already a 10 car pileup on the parkway (main road thru town), right on top of an overpass, which has now caused wrecks at the other exits, several miles down. SO its all closed off, and they are having trouble getting to the victims. My dad always wonders why I cancel plans if they weren't important, when we have bad weather. I am taking him to his new dr today, but it should be clearer by then, and anyway this is important. AND, thank you from the bottom of my fart for all the good information you gave to our Dorky!!! We love you for being YOU and such an important part of the HTL, but we also are so thankful for all your good medical knowledge. AND you too Julie, you have been a big help too!
