blessing. What kind of shoulder reconstruction did you have done arthroscopically?  Was it rotator cuff or bone spurs or what?  I'm trying my damndest to avoid shoulder replacement, but also know I have some hefty bone spurs... lookin' for info/help.

Sas, thanks for checking out my iron stuff. The doctor listed diagnosis as Iron Deficiency Anemia. I've had the infusions before to help but it doesn't raise the levels much. Never had this until after BC....seems true for other conditions as well. I can blame it on the BC and the meds, or just getting older. Doc thinks I'm bleeding somewhere, but ran lots of tests and no source was found. The iron infusions help for awhile. I'm wondering if it's inflammation, going to ask for a C-Reactive protein blood test. I have a history of very high C-Reactive Protein. Seems like if inflammation is the root cause then giving me iron is dangerous. Just tired of being tired.

Thanks, 2TA! Color is called "Dreamer"... Cute pic re "Personal Trainer"!

Gardengumby - it started with a rotator cuff tear and a complete separation of one of the important muscles, plus a couple of bone spurs and a ton of free-floating debris. I'll have to dig up my records to see what else the doc did - he said it was a LOT. I was SO relieved not to have an open incision... Still, it took a good 9 months to recover enough to sleep on that side. I have three tiny scars: one on the front of my shoulder, one on the side, and one on the back. I went to a Sports Medicine Orthopedic surgeon - he was the doc for our University football team!

Morning gals!  Such a beautiful day in the neighborhood!  image

The sun is coming up, it's not snowing, nor raining, the birds are chirping, and the squirrels are sitting out on their fence, waiting for DH to take out his dish of scraps for them!

Blessings, that is sort of a funny visual.... You sitting in that robotic chair, falling over from the anesthetic,  and your husband running for the pillows and tie-downs!  image

Glad it all worked out.  I had Arthroscopic surgery not once, but twice, on both knees!  It was a torn medial meniscus in each one!  I somehow, (shut up Cammi) twisted my left knee, and it got so bad, that I could hardly WALK!  So they did the same thing... 3 holes, then put on this brace thing, and I made Thanksgiving Dinner the next day!

But the 2nd one, I was cutting this huge rug, and squatted down, to cut it, with both my legs bent back, and I tore the other knee!

No matter what Lil-shit and Cammi try and tell you, it had nothing to do with a pole!  Either time!   So my knees are fine...  !

    image

This is not me, but I finally found a picture showing what NOT to do with your knees...   So don't try it... no matter what someone tells you!

Teka, such a darling little picture!  Yes.... that's us!

Okay, I see blue nails!  So I'm not the ONLY one that likes to wear pretty polish?  Ha!  Will that official titanium brace do the deed Blessings?  And no surgery or anything?

22222222ndT...!  Yes, as a matter of fact, we DO need a personal trainer!

    image

And this is MY actual personal trainer...

    Morning LilPaws and Annie!

Morning Owlettess  hmm  ttess instead of tes. That makes use princess owls.

Chevy I got my magazine from HSUS--humane Society of the Unites States. There is an article about chickens and how smart they are. The peeps in INSIDE THE SHELL will peep to tell mom they are to cold. Inside the shell. They talk about all kinds of other things. Mom's teaching their peeps what food is good what's bad. The way they recognize people and remember if they were nice or mean.

Pawprint  your welcome. The Bone Marrow Bx that you asked about will help allot. Lot's of info in one study. Hope Allie Mae is comfortable.

Morning Teka, thank you for coffee. You peeps are beautiful. Look at all the colors/ I guess we've bred that out. :(

Blessings  how long do you need to take AI's. Both my thumb trigger fingers healed after about a year, once I stopped Aromasin. Not suggesting you stop. UGH I hate those drugs. Thanks for the other thing with Jellie :)

    Happy Sunday to all,

We are a busy group as always, DutchChris, no worries on keeping up or commenting to all. No one can, we are an diverse group of yakkers.

Badger, enjoy the brunch, fun weekend for you..

Pawprint, good luck with AnnieMae surgery....thx for asking about me, I am fine.

Garden Gumpy, I also had shoulder surgery. They repaired tendons, cleaned up all the floating stuff, I think it's very common to saw off the end on the collar bone? Not sure if I have the correct bone, but they saw the end off of one of them to give you more range. I did get a frozen shoulder, but was able to get it back in shape with PT.

2ndTimeMaddy, congrats to DD & you & DH. What a cool thing. Proud Mom is the best feeling.

FierceoneBbird, are you safely off that damn high wire ? Let us know what's happening girl !

Zigpop, you still in the north forty, digging, pruning, creating a bounty of beauty ?

Ohh, here is my amazing news. Sitting at the table Thurs. evening, eating spaghetti. I look out to our patio, and there is a deer. Very surprising..... We live in town. I thought it was a goat for a second, then I wondered if I was hallucinating....lol...yelled at DD & DH. We took photos, called the neighbors. Went outside. We are about a mile or less to the Snake River Canyon, they live down there.

Looking at some other threads last night. Someone in our group is having a Bday this weekend.....

    Waving hello to all, BBL

Sas, I didn't word that correctly, I was remembering Smaarty recent photo from Disneyland, with the bear hug.

My DH & I, both families do not reproduce fast enough to ever know Great grandmas. Barely the grandmas. Lazy, all of us...lol...

actually, the girls don't really know each other. Taylor is 22, Sara is 30 and my daughter's cousin.  They never hung out together when kids, theyre 14 years apart.  Taylor isn't the oldest, her brother is 25. He's the one with the leg problem. He did make it for the wedding, hurt like he&l but not sorry he went.

as far as greatGK coming from Tay, they're on a time table. Must have kids before 8 years is up, that's how long you can store sperm. He had testicluar cancer in 2012 and 13.  So they have in stored. He doesn't want kids for a couple years so they'll wait until he's done with school.

See the raccoons on the cake? My DD made them from clay.

    image

And I was good. Didn't even have wedding cake. They had 4-5 small cakes with a variety of flavors. Neat idea.

Looks like a lovely day, beautiful Mr. & Mrs.

I love cake, probably would of had to try several. I do not like cooked fruit ( I'm weird ) so pies are out, but cake, yum.

I just can't keep up.  This thread moves so fast and there is so much life going on.  Oh and preparing for my daughter's Graduation and her party.

My hand swelled today.  It's getting better now. I do have a sleeve. I don't know if I should talk to my BS.  I feel like such a nuisance.

I love all the pictures.  I think of you all often and am sending hugs to those who need them.

I'm just getting caught up, I was at my DD1 for the weeknd and had a great time.

Smaarty what u do is so pretty, The sign looked wonderful, and u'r DD is another crative onw too==Jeez I can eat the cake lik crazy, but can do nothing else.

Oh Chevy u'r probably done with those chickens now and I hope u got u'r eggs for the week cuz we all know u squeeze the hells out of the chickens, don't act like u don't. Oh and sitting like that now --never my legs would crack in that position and then I would have to explain to the ER why the hell I was thinking I was a teen. In fact I just hurt looking at that.

I don't remember what I've been reading, but Thanks Sas for all the xplanation--I understood it--wow.

And BTW I have no idea how I underlined that post--it just happened--u guys know I know Nothing.

I'm so tired now so I'm going to say goodnite and I'll be around tomorrow.

Sharon, Those are happy reasons for not being able to keep up. Don't ever worry about bothering a doctor. You are employing them via your insurance or pocketbook. Besides, LE is not something to take lightly.

dutchy  LE isn't one of my strengths, but you have a sleeve. is it preventative or b/c you have LE. Talk with your doc. Please, don't be offended at the question. You don't wear sleeve without the gauntlet? Anything unusual in last two days. Outdoor excursion>>bugbite? Any nicks? Change in foods? change in salt usuage? Kira and Binney4 are the Guru's  on LE Find where they are posting. Kira is to LE  as  Deborah on sizing 101 for foobs.
