Yes, chair has a vibrator, no it doesn't have music or heat, but the iPhone has the one and the hot flashes cover the other. And, it was coffee, and puffed caramel corn. And not a handmade quilt, sorry to disappoint.

PattyP, shoulder surgery is painFUL. I had my right one repaired 10 years ago. I know I need to wait & listen to the specialist, the MRI sounded bad to me, but maybe he will say "your old", of course it hurts.

Luvmygoats, I don't think I could use the Neti pot either, but I really like using their squeeze bottle. Has helped relieve lots of sinus headaches.
Wind is blowing something fierce here. Need to check if it's snowing in my area.

Pawprint and 2TA - I'm watching live on the net TVNWeather driving thru a neighborhood off the Corona Freeway. This is the streaming I've watched all during storm season. Didn't expect to be watching snow on it now. He's talking about Santiago Peak. Hope all you gals are safe. Doesn't look pretty. Albert Hill Ranch is his next target to check out. Also to Wildomar. He has sound too.
Not looking good for use. Winter storm warning starts next county over. I have got to get out and get goaties some hot water. 26 degrees feels like 14. DH long gone to work. They may not even have liquid water, think he filled them last night. Maybe he did it this am.
I'm going to post this, get my lazzy azz up and get going. Check back in later.

That was a quick goatie visit. The bucket heaters were out by the doors, not inside where they were last night. So obviously my sweet DH heated them water this am. I will need to replenish but at least they got a warm drink. My neighbor has a horse and donkey and I think she doesn't even keep a tank heater on to keep their water from freezing. I think it's just a plug in - like running an extension cord from garage. Wouldn't need on all the time. We have suspended heat lamps in the 2 barns - they are actually chicken brooder lamps. Keep it a little warmer. Barn dirt floor. Mr. Bucky has it best - his shed is low ceiling so the heat lamp actually does some good for him. He sits right under it.
Still have TVN on. Listening to the guy out measuring the snow in this neighborhood. About to slide down a major hill. Drama

LMGoats, yes snow all around us here in Southern California. I went in the backyard to get the ice off the dog bed, the birdbath is frozen over completely. The mountains and hills are beautiful all full of snow. But brrrrr it is soooo cold. Snow is a very rare occurrence here. I'm afraid to go out in the front yard and check the water pipe leak. I'm certain there will be ice everywhere.

LMG, glad to hear the goats are safe and warm. Mr Bucky sounds like the king of the pack, hopefully they're all warm enough. Yes, that's the general area I live in. Luckily, we didn't get much colder than 38* but the wind was very fierce so with wind chill probably colder. I think we lucked out because we didn't have the rain, just wind. While I'm not really concerned here, Pasadena is about 40 miles away and don't think this weather will be good for the people camping out on the streets to see the Rose Parade or the floats themselves. Already hearing this will be one of the coldest parades on record. Plus with all the work done on the floats, I don't think they take fierce winds into consideration. Feel sorry for the volunteers with their hands in water completing the floats (it's already a cold job).

Littlegoats! The Chickens water was froze up solid 3 days ago.... Been going over every morning with fresh water, and pouring it into 2 containers for them!
I'll be so damned glad when they come home Saturday! Then THEY can do the worrying! I got 2 more eggs this morning though.... like they are saying "thank you for all the watermelon, and saving our lives."......
Evidently the "water bucket heater" isn't working for some reason..... but like I said .... THEY can figure it out!

On my Thyroid it was missed twice by the original pathologist. He said in the path report he sent it for a second opinion after the removal. They found Ca diffusely throughout both lobes. He admitted he missed it. Still don't know if it hurt my outcome.

Happy new year everyone. Hope this year is better than last.
And less expensive! Tinker is doing fine. I took his cone off. Hes now using the litter box which is good because last night I couldn't get him to. He stayed in bed with me all night and kept trying to pee about every half hour. I hope tonight that he does much better or I'm going to stick him in the bathroom. We're not doing anything. Need to fine a good movie to watch

Chevy LOL on profanity, do you remember on STFU someone asked a question about antidepressants, I did my whole teaching thingy, and someone dropped in to ask some questions? Then she went back to her home thread and explained why she was on STFU. She apologized to the group for being in ______(forget).i.e such a place. Talk about feeling used and abused. Pick my mind and then intimate I'm awful. I seriously had to do some WTF control behavior. I was proud of myself to just let it go and not post on her thread the bolded stuff.
Interesting thought, very interesting...........It's all easy when things are easy. But when each day holds a new challenge for years on end, then it gets wearing. The moments that there are no challenges are beautiful
